This magical village is deep within the Alps, so far from Muggle civilization that they rarely even worry about anyone finding the village that shouldn't. Of course, they still have charms in place to keep them out, but truly, getting there is such a feat that they haven't had any Muggles get anywhere near the borders of their protective charms in upwards of a century. This small village is incredibly welcoming, but protective of their own and their traditions and culture. The mountains that surround it make it a beautiful place to visit.

It is the fifth most populous city in Switzerland, and it's actually listed in the top ten cities as far as best quality of life goes. The city center is largely medieval, which makes it a very beautiful and interesting place to visit.

Known as the smallest of big cities, and the city of peace, Geneva lies at the southern tip of Lake Geneva. It's surrounded by the Alps and the Jura mountains, and the parks, and the old alleyways are just asking visitors or locals to take a relaxing walk along it. It's a hub for Muggle international relations, though in the wizarding world, it's just an active magical community, and a good place to visit.

Lucerne is known for its preserved medieval architecture, and sits amid mountains on Lake Lucerne. One of the oldest covered bridges in Europe is a centerpiece of the city, as well as historic houses, but mixed with a modern concert hall and art gallery in the Muggle world, it's certainly an ancient town with a modern twist. There are beautiful views up the Pilatus, Stanserhorn, or Rigi mountains, and there's no better way to take in the town than on the lake.

This is a country that is landlocked and bordered by Italy, France, Germany, and Austria. The landscape here is said to be breathtaking with its mountains and lakes. Switzerland is best known for its cheese, chocolate, and watches which all bear its name. It is also known for its neutrality when it comes to Muggle international conflicts. This is a peaceful country with beautiful scenery that is certainly worth a visit.
