What it's it's lost behind
words we could never find
words we could never find
YHe had a lot to be thankful for, and he knew that a large portion of it was thanks to his sister. She had pushed him into making friends, into being social, but he had never once dreamed or thought that it would be possible to find not only love, but someone who loved him back in such a short time. Pansy was not someone that he thought that he had ever deserved, she was so much more beautiful than someone like him deserved, but he loved her more than he loved anyone else in his entire life, save for his sister. They were best friends, Pansy and Gen, they had a connection, and now he knew that they were sisters now, which meant so much.
He would soon be a father, and he was happier than he would ever admit. His first Christmas as a married man would also be his first as a father. Seeing her softly swelling belly as she dressed in the mornings filled him with a pride that he could not name. Maybe it was because he would have a child, hopefully more afterward, if Pansy was no opposed. He wanted his wife happy, he wanted his child happy. Naught else mattered to him really, but that was because of his family first mentality.
He had a lot that he had to do, but all he could think about was if his wife would be able to go to lunch with him, or if he should send her a memo to see what she wanted as he looked over the paperwork before him. Was it boring? Absolultely. He hated it, but it was safer than just being a Dragon Keeper and it meant that he would be close by if she ever had need of him. Yes, he worried about her, and about how she was doing. He had never been on this end of a pregnancy. He had seen his sister grow large with Rosier’s children multiple times, and she had looked radiant, but not as much as Pansy. Her lovely eyes seem to glow from within and it made him cherish her even more. Would but their child have her eyes and he would be lost to the world. He was reading the report one more time when he tore his eyes from it to find someone near him.
He stood and held his hand out. ”Ah, Travers, well met.”
