[attr="class","textbodslyth"]Herbology was a class that Artemis did enjoy, and a lot of people found that surprising. Because, apparently, she didn't have a Herbologist personality. Whatever the hell that bloody meant. But she liked the class, mostly because she had learned a lot from her mother whenever she had been able to visit her, and she was pretty good at it. Good enough to get an O on her OWL, and keep taking the class NEWT-level. Which was really saying something, because the only other classes that Artemis had studied enough for to get an O in were Charms and Transfiguration. Everything else, she had walked into the exam flying by the seat of her pants, more or less. And some of those had gone decently well, like Care of Magical Creatures and History, because her memory was as eidetic as it got. Others, well... one only needed to look at her Potions OWL to see what that meant. Artemis almost felt a little bad for Professor Malfoy, for having to bear witness to her Troll performance. But, hey--everyone survived. And she didn't like that class anyways. Not even Professor Pretty Boy was enough to keep her around.

Herbology, though--that was calming. Plants just did their thing, and very rarely did they talk back. Mandrakes were loud and obnoxious, but Artemis was rather good at handling that. Birds of a feather, Apollo would likely say. So Artemis had stuck with it, mostly because her father would have had something to say if she didn't at least take Herbology. Needless to say, he hadn't been thrilled with her performance in Astronomy. Unsurprisingly, she had received an A in the class. But that was so far from her fault. It was at eleven at night, for Merlin's sake. She should only be doing one of two things that late: either sleeping, or drinking. It didn't matter, though, because her father's mood had been lifted once he had discovered that Apollo had gotten an O in the class. Again, unsurprisingly. Artemis loved her brother, but in all honesty, they were polar opposites. It was a little crazy to think about, but it had also worried her a bit last year. Because Apollo had been homeschooled for so long, and that worked for him. He wasn't the social type, and Artemis had worried that he just... wouldn't find his footing.

But he had, thankfully, because it meant that Artemis didn't have to admit her caring worries out loud. Her own friends had been good about welcoming him with open arms, and as much as he put on his I hate people show, Artemis liked to think that it was just that--a show. He was fitting in well. Very well, last she had heard.

Speak of the devil. Artemis' eyes landed on the other Ravenclaw she had been thinking of just as she stepped outside the greenhouse. She was quick to fall into step with Alis, and gave him a gentle nudge with her elbow. Well, she thought it was gentle, but Zeph always said she had a forceful way about her. Whatever that meant. She did it out of love, anyways. "Hey, lover boy," Artemis teased quietly. "I think I saw an icicle drop from Apollo's face this morning--he's melting." Artemis was observant, especially when it came to her polar opposite twin. And one of her closest friends. She thought she should be invested in this, as Alis' main wingman--or wingwoman?--and the unofficial leader of the unofficial get Apollo laid club.
