I swear to God, I'm so sick of what you do

But I'll never get enough of you
Not everyone wanted to be perfect, and not everyone was meant for the life of being a perfect wife, Caterina knew that she wasn’t. She had a life that she was proud of and honestly, getting married wasn’t a part of her plan for a while yet. She didn’t want to be tied down just yet, and she wasn’t going to be like her sister and pop out as many kids as she could. She would live her best life and if Michael had a problem with that, then she felt a little bad about it, but she wouldn’t blink an eye. He knew where she stood, she had no problems breaking off the engagement if he wasn’t okay with the life that she wanted to life. She would do whatever ever he wanted, and she had grown to care for him, they had even slept together a few times but she doubted they would ever feel anything than affection.

She wasn’t really someone who used love, she didn’t say the word. She never even said the word to her parents. Not that she didn’t love them. She did, but the word was so over used and honestly the feeling was over rated. Not that she had ever been in love, but affection she could do. She felt it for a lot of people, but no one ever earned the title of love. No one. She didn’t need it, it was superfluous honestly.

Tonight she was with Jaxon Cole, an old favorite, a friend, and someone she enjoyed being around. She wanted to have fun and wanted to drink. Partying was fun and her favorite bad boy made that so much better. With a smirk she danced and moved against Jaxon on the dance floor, knowing there were drinks waiting on her when they went back their table.

I'm so love drunk
have mercy on me
Party boy of Puddlemere was out on the town keeping up his reputation tonight. He had one of his best girls with him. Cat's body was fire and he loved the way she moved against him. He let the heavy bass guide their bodies. The song blasting around them was sin and sex and debauchery---all the things the man was known for. Someday he would be more than that... He was already working on what would come after quidditch. He had plenty more years left in him as an athlete, but he wanted to change the world. He wanted to make a difference for his kind.

But weres were not on his mind tonight. His focus was held by the blonde bombshell grinding against him. His hands pressed to her hips in ways that would urge the woman's thoughts to the proverbial bedroom and to all the memories that had made over the last couple years. He had very recently started making memories with the woman's fiance, as well. He and Michael were growing closer all the time and Jaxon had more affection for him than he was really even aware of yet. It was still new and fun, but there was something a bit more than that with the Parkinson, as well. Blood status in this new world made it complicated, even if Jax had some Black blood in him. But despite that neither Cat nor Michael had ever shown the seeker any prejudice or hate.

Jaxon urged Cat a bit closer to him as the song transitioned from one heavily sexed up song into a dark pulsing Latin rhythm remix. "You wanna give 'em a show, darlin',-" he asked, leaning down to speak into her ear, "Or you bout ready to get back to them dranks and a little cozyin' up the corner." The seeker spun the witch away from him and back into his arms as the song slowed down. He could dance really well and guided Cat into a seductive latin inspired sequence. Either answer she gave, he was more than happy to oblige.

Nights like this was what she lived for, what she craved, she loved the way that she felt. It could be the liquor, the music or Jaxon. All three of them were equally intoxicating. She was fond of the male, as fond as she was of her fiance, maybe a little more if she was honest with herself, but he had that little something extra that pulled him in. On nights when she wanted passion and fire and danger she sought out Jaxon, on nights when she wanted kind and loving she sought out Michael and then there were times when she wanted to be alone. As a thrupple it worked, she guessed. Though being called a thrupple probably wasn’t the right term.

She wasn’t sure how this would work when or If she and Michael married, she wasn’t even sure that she wanted to marry Michael. Of course, she may not have much of a choice and she would never bring up the idea to Jaxon. She wasn’t stupid enough to ruin this for the sake of saving face. Her father had set up this arrangement, and though becoming The Lady Parkinson would be amazing, she wasn’t her sister. That wasn’t the life that she wanted. Though she was attracted to the idea of marrying Jaxon, and having someone else as their third party. It wasn’t something she had to think about yet. She had two more years before she finished school and that had been her one stipulation. Mainly to buy herself enough time to find a way out.

Caterina laughed as they danced, joy and life clear in her face and bleeding from her every pore as they danced and their bodies moved together. ”I am more about the second one for now. We have all night to give them a show, and I’m getting thirsty, love.” It was just what she called him. She called Michael the same thing. She didn’t like the idea of treating either of them differently. She leaned up to kiss him for a moment, not caring who saw them. She was never shy about the company she kept.

It was beautiful and sensual the way their bodies moved together. He led and she followed--the music guiding them both. He loved the pressure of the bass beat--the way it reverberated in his chest. It brought a rush of adrenaline to him--amplified by the lust the woman pressed against him always caused. She was quite a bit younger than him, but Jaxon had no problem with it. Age was all just a number--and he lived a very high energy, youthful lifestyle. Such was the fate of the pro-athlete.

When Cat said she was ready for a drink, he nodded--that smouldering, bad-boy grin never leaving his handsome face. She rolled up onto her toes and he bent down, arms sweeping around her as he kissed her deeply. Jaxon was never shy with his affections--and nothing had changed between himself and the woman in his arms when her family had made the announcement she was to marry his other lover. He had talked to Michael about it a bit--the Parkinson had no issue with the seeker seeing his betrothed. But he wasn't sure if Caterina knew that he and Michael were lovers. The pair of them had grown closer despite their blood status differences. Michael had some prejudices that Jaxon found absurd, but somehow the bit of Black blood that the seeker had in his heritage was enough to absolve any issues Michael had about their relationship...and it certainly was a relationship. The pair talked quite honestly. Jaxon was even debating coming out to the man about his lycanthrophy. It would be a really big step for them, but he didn't want to build something more serious with Michael with this big lie between them. Merlin knew it was complicated--but if Jaxon kept growing the feelings he had, he would have to come clean. It was just a scary thing to do.

There were no thoughts about that grand reveal or about the other man at all while Jaxon was kissing Caterina. His mouth moved hard and demanding against hers, claiming her fiercely. Jaxon was a rough and dominant lover always--and things with Cat were no different. What made her special was the light she brought into his life. She had a way of making the rest of the world fade away--the witch was all radiance and joy. He very much enjoyed her company. "Whatever you want, darlin'," he drawled as the seeker swept his muscular arm around the beautiful woman and began to lead her off the dance floor. The sheer size of him and the intensity of his stare--and perhaps a bit of his celebrity--spread the bodies and let the pair of them easily navigate the distance from the dance floor to their table. He had secured an exclusive VIP space for them. No clamouring fans would be bothering the pair tonight. He wasn't in the mood to play politician. He gave his time to the community and his fan base regularly. Hours were spent signing autographs and meeting fans--that wasn't what tonight was about. He was here to have fun--to let go--and to get very naughty with one beautiful blonde witch.

Getting one thing perfectly clear is the most important thing to Caterina, she is not Xiomara. Her sister and brothers called her names like slattern and slut, she ignored them though, because they meant little to her. The agreement between Caterina and her father had been simple; so long as she married Michael Parkinson she would be allowed to do as she pleased and he would turn a blind eye to anything else that she chose to do. She had gotten him to agree to add that if she found someone else, even if they were not a pureblood, that was just as eligible a bachelor then she could marry them instead. Michael didn’t want to marry her. Of course they cared about each other and the sex was pretty damned good, but they would never be faithful to each other. Which was where Jaxon had come in.

He was sexy, knew what he wanted, a freak in bed, and he knew how to handle her. She wasn’t the kind of girl who gave up easily and she knew what she wanted and on nights like this, she got what she wanted. He was intoxicating. He was amazing and good to her. She found that she rather liked him, but this wasn’t a thing for love, it was for sex. They had a bond, and affection; love, however, was not something to be played in the cards. He was wild, like she was, an echo of so many things about her and it was like he pulled her in some how. She liked everything about the dark man, and it drove her absolutely wild. She knew that he and Michael were also a thing and was not aware if it was serious or not, but it was an idea that was slowly building in her mind, something to bring to her affianced.

She kissed him back, damned near melting into him, her small hands linking behind his neck before pushing into his hair. He broke the kiss and she pouted but she knew that the dance floor was no place for snogging or making a scene, though sneaking off to a storage closet sounded great. She liked that he didn’t care if people noticed him or not, because he was there with her. It earned her lots of glares and stares from people. Tonight she was his and he was hers alone, and she didn’t want to share him with anyone else. Her dyed blonde hair swung around her shoulders and she smiled as they entered their little haven.

She called for drinks and sat on the little loveseat that was there for them. She would much rather sit in his lap, but she was at least trying to feign that she cared about being a Lady, for Michael’s benefit. ”So, plans for tomorrow?” She asked him. She and Michael had talked about taking a day trip, and she thought he might want to join. She wiggled her eyebrows and leaned over to kiss him softly, her hand running over his chest.
