This coffee shop got its name when it had just been opened -- originally called The Bean, it had been open only a few weeks before a horrible storm. Everyone out and about had to either get home or get somewhere quickly, and plenty of people hid out in The Bean. After that, the nickname the Hideout caught on so fast that the owner changed the name. It serves the best coffee in town, and has delicious pastries and chocolates as well.
