Adria Hotel

The Adria is a sight to behold. A quintessentially British hotel in South Kensington, The Adria stands proudly in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in central London. The hotel stems off of an elegantly restored 19th century Victorian townhouse, but has expanded to accommodate even more Muggle and magical travelers in recent years. It natural fuses the charm and grace of a private English residence with warm and generous hospitality, creating a refined haven for the sophisticated traveler. Any known blood traitor may think twice about passing through its doors, though -- it is owned by a Carrow.

The Avalon Ballet School, founding in 1901, is one of the wizarding world's greatest centers of classical ballet training. Avalon Ballet Company has an annual performance of a single ballet of the Director's choosing, which runs from June until August, and a winter performance as well, running through most of December and into January.

The Avalon Ballet Endowment Foundation was established in 1910 as a separate nonprofit public benefit corporation for the purpose of holding and managing endowment funds for the benefit of the Avalon Ballet Association. It seeks to provide the Ballet with a reliable source of support while protecting its investments against inflation and wide swings in the capital markets. The Foundation provides just over ninety percent of the school's core operating budget. The foundation is controlled by a Board of Directors.

The casino is a grand four storey building of white stone and red timber, in traditional fashion, in a magic only area of the city. Golden light constantly bathes it due to the floating candle lanterns that illuminate the paths and the decoration. The lavish front is decorated by constantly blooming Camellias, Chinese roses, and Orchids with beautiful moving statues between them. On the gravel path there is a fountain, containing miniature Chinese dragons flying in an orb from where the water sprouts.

The inside of the casino is divided between the eating and lounging area and the gambling area. The food is served on the upper two floors, one of which has an open plan of tables and the bar, and the upmost one is divided solely into private dining rooms. The communal area is warmly lit, with flowers and plants sprouting around and magical insects such as dragonflies and butterflies roam the airs. They are made of sugar, much like the koi fish in the fountains and stream that twists its way through the area. The water is decorated also with water plants and flowers. The private rooms are decorated in much the same way and tables on the balconies are also available.

The playing floors are designed to be both functional and elegant. The games offered are Poker, Blackjack, Roulette, Fan-Tan, Pai Gow, Sic bo, Craps, Baccarat, Faro, and Trente et Quarante. The architecture with its marble floors and dark wood and golden details provide a relaxed ambiance that puts the players at ease. All employees, be they table dealers, bartenders, or waiters, wear the same pale golden, traditional Chinese robes, blending in with the flowers, statues, and other decorations seamlessly.

The casino is a lavish but tasteful place that only opens its doors at night, but during the day the gardens are open for luncheons and tea services.

This rustic and very casual eatery is located along the Thames, and is home to both Muggles and Magical kinds alike, so witches and wizards must obviously be careful in making sure to do no magic here. However, their killer burgers and chips makes it absolutely worth the trip

This office is a small, one-level building, and the business is open to both muggle and magical clients alike. A glass panel door with the office’s hours and the company’s name welcomes all potential clients. Upon entering, one is greeted by a secretary desk (and, hopefully, the secretary). There is a tiny waiting room with a coffee-maker (charmed to keep the coffee hot throughout the day) and a water cooler. Beyond the secretary’s desk is a small cubicle, where an intern or a visiting accountant or legal consultant would work, and two doors. One door has “Reagan Duffy” stained onto the glass panel, while the other one has “Harper Bosco.” Clients will be redirected to either of these PIs (or both) depending on their current case load.

Open year-round, this park features many attractions for all ages. With a 700-foot-long lake on the south side of the park, there is a sanded beach portion where young folk may try their hand at building a large castle made of sand while older folk lay on the side, letting the sun deepen their skin shade. Picnic tables are located throughout the park, allowing places for occupants to sit and enjoy food or company. A large Children's Playground is in the center of the park, a large garden filled with various, non-poisonous plants to the side. A building with Men's and Women's lavatories are located near the playground for children unable to contain themselves. A magical charm protects all occupants from incidents that may occur on the Quidditch Pitch with flying balls. On the north side of the park, there is a full-sized Quidditch Pitch with a small building with Men's and Women's Lavatories.

The Fleur di Lis looks like any other hotel to those that don't know what's really going on behind closed doors. If you know what to say, if you know who to ask for at the front desk, then you can find your way into the part of the Fleur de Lis that operates on the, not quite as prim and proper side. If you ask to speak with Madame di Lis, then not only will you find yourself with a room for the night, or the hour... But you will find yourself presented with a selection of options for what sort of company you would like for the evening.

NEWT preparatory courses and exams are available at the institution, allowing adults to complete their education long after leaving Hogwarts or other wizarding primary school.

Goshawk's Workforce Solutions department delivers training for individuals looking to expand their current skills or certifications or explore a new career path, or both! These career track courses are designed to provide in-demand skills in a short timeframe.

This office is located on the thirteenth floor of an entirely glass office building in London. The thirteenth floor is sealed off with magic, and there is no button on the elevator to get there. You have to touch your wand to the close doors button on the panel. When the elevator doors open again you will be faced with a clean, and crisp white and glass office. The reception desk will meet you as you open the glass front doors and from there you will be pointed in the right direction. The bullpen is behind the large white wall that forms the front hallway on either side of the desk. All of the writers work in individual white and glass cubicles in this portion of the office. The break room is located at the end of the hallway on the right, and the conference room takes up the entire back wall of the floor. All glass so that it can be seen in from every side, the whole thing conveys a sense of no one being able to hide anything. All of that changes when you reach the other end of the floor. If you make it through the cubicles, and past the break room and conference room the entire wall and corner office on the far side is Anicka’s. Opening the solid white door you will be met with silvers and amethyst, as her office is decorated to her own taste.

Housewife’s Official Magical Editorial Magazine focuses on everything a witch needs to know to run a proper magical household. With interests ranging from home and garden, to cooking and crafts, with a touch on lifestyle and decorating, there is a little bit of something for every witch between the covers of HOME.

Anicka wants it noted that if you work for her you must pass her inspection at all times. Whether that be when she walks past you on the street, or if you are in her office. You must pass her standards. If not, you will not like the consequences, and her threats are not to be taken lightly.

What looks like a normal, high-class, muggle shop on Bond street is in fact so much more. The front of the shop is open to anyone magical or muggle and they sell the latest KA Designs pieces that would be suitable for both worlds. Step through the door marked Employees Only and you will find all of the latest KA Designs that are exclusively for the wizarding world. But that's not all, the actual design studio is upstairs, and if you work for Katrine you know where the door to her office is.

The London Mare Aloja office is smaller than its counterpart in Barcelona, but is designed similarly, with its focus on minimialism. The offices are brightly lit, with photographs taken from their various campaigns on the walls of the reception area. There is a very open layout, and it's quite common for members' of the upper management doors to actually be left open -- they take an open door policy very literally! There is a conference room and other smaller offices. And to no one's surprise, there are a lot of flowers and plants in the office.

The Ministry of Magic is located underground, in Whitehall, and there are ten floors that host many different levels and departments. There two means of entering the establishment. One of which is the visitor's entrance, through an abandoned red telephone booth where one would enter "62442." Ministry workers can use the Floo Network or Apparate into the Atrium in the Ministry.

This Muggle club is located in the heart of Hoxton. It boasts a large dance floor, live DJs, and scantily clad women carrying around shots, obviously. It is a popular club for witches and wizards to frequent, though there is a backroom for those that wanted to enjoy the company of only magical folk. If one headed in between the maintenance door and the back door, and pressed their wand (secretly, of course) against the middle brick, followed by ... well, if you don't know, you simply shouldn't be there.

This lavish building looks like little more than an abandoned warehouse to the non-magical or non-creature eye, deterring those not welcome. To witches and wizards, the vintage lettering reads ‘QUEEN’S REVENGE CASINO.’ Once inside, the Queen’s Revenge is transformed into a beautiful casino floor decorated in an art deco style. Slot machines, card tables, and games are neatly organized and always packed full of people. In the back, only accessible by Juniper Prufrock, her associates, and guests, is the headquarters of The Black Spades, a pro-magical creature organization.

The building looks abandoned to anybody that doesn't know better, and anybody without magic because, yes... this underground fighting ring is most certainly wixen entry only. To anyone else, it will just look broken down and abandoned, with chains on the door to prevent entrance. For a wixen, the building... well, it still looks broken down. It is an old warehouse, after all. But there are no chains barring you from entrance.

The second that you walk in, you're in the thick of it. The fighting ring is in the middle of the first floor, chain links protect fighters from outside interference. There's an area for placing bets, along with two bars -- one on the bottom floor, the other up a set of stairs to the second floor. The second floor offers the best view of the fight and it takes a little extra money to gain entrance up there.

The cute two level building is a light beige colour for the most part with pastel green trimming and a multi-coloured pastel sign out front indicating the name of the shop. There's always a chalkboard out front with the day's specials and a cute message from Lilybelle. On the outside large windows on the first floor are lined with beautiful flowers and a couple of picnic tables sit out front on the neat lawn in case anyone wants to enjoy a snack in the sun. Multi-coloured stepping stones breakthrough the green grass and lead up to the entrance of the shop. Inside is just as lovely, against the wall a staircase leads up to the apartment above that is always kept closed and locked, though the mint green door keeps it from seeming too threatening. A few circular tables are scattered around near the windows but the glass display of cakes, cookies, and treats to dream of, is clearly the star. From there one can see into a bit of the kitchens but the true beauty of the ground work can only be experienced from stepping into the kitchens themselves and watching a baker work. On top of the glass display there is always a tri-tier tray with mini-cupcakes for children, Lilybelle's menu includes a variety of vegan, clean-eating, gluten-free, peanut-free, or specialty items should one care to ask and like any good bakery a warm drink can be ordered as well.

Built in the 1900s, this old home has had major improvements to make it more livable since the defeat of Voldemort. Parts of the building had been destroyed during the war, but now, it is hardly noticeable. It is a large, demanding of attention, type home that can house many children. The most that it had at any given time was immediately following the war, many children without parents due to a number of reasons, such as their parents being casualties or their parents being death eaters that were needing to face consequences for their actions.

Each bedroom is meant to room two individuals, the founders of the house determining that to be easiest when dealing with many temperamental children due to the loss of their parents or other tragedies. With moderately strict house rules, this orphanage intends to make children feel like they are part of a home.

In order to enter St. Mungo's, one would step through the window of what looks to Muggles like a condemned department store. Once inside, one would find that the hospital houses many floors for any number of ailments that could befall a witch or wizard. The ground floor houses the welcome desk, along with artefact accidents, the first floor is the place to go for creature-induced injuries, whereas the second floor is for anyone falling ill due to magical bugs and diseases. The third floor helps to heal any poisonings caused by potions and plants, fourth floor is for spell damage as well as housing the Janus Thickey Ward and the William Tuke Ward for Persons of Disordered Minds. One would find the visitors' tearoom and hospital shop on the top floor.

The London Dueling and Social Club is a private members-only amateur and professional dueling club, open to recreational and competitive duelers. The club has existed under its current organization since 2008. Prior to this, there were at least five other iterations of the LDC, the first organized in 1705.

Classes and competitions for school aged children, 11-18, are held in the summer months.

At nearly 90,000 sq ft., the club beautifully embraces the glamour of the 1950's and 60's–pairing the service and sophistication of the West End with the downtown cool of the East End. Just off Liverpool Street, this private club boasts an incredible food and beverage program, as well as a plethora of amenities for members–like a private gymnasium, a winter garden with an adjoining cigar terrace and a summer terrace for al fresco dining and lounging.

With 37 guest rooms, The London Dueling Club has its own boutique hotel with 68 beautifully designed bedrooms, situated over four floors. The luxury rooms come in a variety of sizes, from compact Club Rooms that are perfect for an overnight work stay, to interconnecting rooms designed with families in mind and then right up to luxurious Club Suites, ideal for a special weekend in the heart of London. Every luxury room has been finished to an exceptionally high standard.

House elves maintain the property and assist the chef in all food preparation. Often a house elf will be seen behind the bar or providing food/beverage service to the clientele. However, a number of hospitality positions are still manned by wixens.

Members-only, expect to pay several thousand galleons for a yearly membership.

Once inside the first floor, the front desk is the first stop. Beyond that lies the open-air work area complete with standing desks, glass-paneled meeting rooms, and the editor's office near the back. On the second floor is Valentina De la Vega’s personal residence - a rather lavish four-bedroom loft apartment which she shares with her children when they are with her.

This office is located on the seventh floor of a red brick building in the center of London. The entrance to the seventh floor can only be accessed by the eighth floor and the eighth floor does not exist to anyone who isn't employed or approved by the Witch Weekly security. Upon entrance, one will first enter large mahogany doors with intricate design, the sign reading 'Witch Weekly' in impressive lettering. Stepping inside, there is a large office for the Editor of the magazine to the left, followed by a copy room. To the right, there is a lovely lunch room attached to a hallway that leads to the dark room for photographs. Directly next to the dark room is the dressing room of the magazine's very own, lovely, model, the epitome of a woman. In the center of the floor are spacious cubicles for the many writers of the magazine. The first portrait that one will see is one of Tobias Misslethorpe, founder of this remarkable piece of work, a copy of the first magazine printed to be found just below his portrait for all to read. The walls are lined with portraits of models and other women that uphold themselves with honor and dignity.

Please note that smuggling any other magazines within these walls will result in the individual suffering uncomfortable sores for the next week, thank you.
