A tiny little shop in a corner of the high street, this establishment has occupied the same premises for over two hundred years. On entering, one will be greeted immediately by the sight of rack upon rack of tweed jackets, dark suits and woollen overcoats; all of which look as though they might have been there just as long as the shop, but are of extremely high quality. To all appearances, this is a Muggle shop, and certainly no one would suspect it of being anything out of the way, but on asking for the non-existent Mr. Withall, one will be shown into a back room through a threadbare curtain which contains a range of Muggle outfits specifically designed to aid wizards in blending in- and with a number of special features, such as specially designed pockets to fit wands.

The pub is always rather dimly lit, warm, and rambunctious. It is often crowded until late hours of the night, and is a very charming place to stop by to have a few drinks, though only Muggle alcohol is offered.

Toadstool Books

A children's bookstore that sells both new and secondhand books. Bright bookshelves line the sides of the store, and handfuls of simple toys, figurines, and crystals can be purchased to sell as gifts. A half-hidden room is modeled after a bank vault, and a placard next to it states the store used to be a bank, and the room the vault. Inside it is a reading area, as well as books for young adults. The store has a name for whimsy, as shown by the fact that some of the workers and customers often turn up in robes. Sometimes, oddly enough, the books on shelves can't be found in any other bookstore, and tell folktales no one else has ever heard of, for all that they sell out very quickly.

Hanging outside of the store is a wooden sign with a cheerily painted toadstool, and some type of creature on it, eagerly paging through a book. Questions to the employees about what sort of tale it's supposed to be from is either met with confusion and uncertainty, or answers that seem almost impossible.

Godric's Hollow is home to a large number of wizarding families, however it is not a purely Wizarding village. This means that use of magic needs to be avoided openly, as most of the shops and pubs located in the village are frequented by Muggles. Famous residents include the Potter family, the Dumbledore family, and Bathilda Bagshot. There is a memorial to the Potter family.
