This city is in the southern region of Andalusia, and is the capital of the province of Córdoba. It has the warmest summer high temperatures in Spain. During the summer months, the city hosts three festivals: The May Crosses Festival, which takes place in the beginning of May. The Patios Festival, celebrated in the second and third week of May, and Córdoba's Fair that takes place at the end of the month, which makes the month a very popular time for tourism.

This small magical town is located on the Bay of Biscay, close to the border to Portugal. It is named, as many wizarding villages are, based on the myth that brought about its founding. Although there is no word differentiating mermaids and sirens, the founding of this seaside village was based off of mermaids. A ship sank -- no one quite knows how, but it was taking on water, and mermaids, as the legends went, saved a few of the people aboard the ship. They settled there, and pay tribute to the mermaids that saved them every year in El festival de las sirenas.

The biggest and most important bull-fighting arenas in Spain is located in Madrid, called Las Ventas Bullring. The city has more cloudless days than any other place in Europe, and the fact that its mostly always sunny in Madrid is one of many reasons to visit!
