An Caillteanach

An Caillteanach is a smaller island in the Outer Hebrides, made Unplottable to unspelled maps sometime near when the Hebridean Blacks started trying to wing their way across the waters. Covering in many Muggle-repelling spells that are diligently kept up, the island rarely boasts a population of more than ten, and usually the ten are of MacFusty blood, or wed to MacFustys. Of the two buildings on the island, one is a broch, and the other is a lighthouse. The broch stands 13.3 meteres high and is accessible via a single entrance at ground level, a five-meter passageway which is only two meters high and one meter wide. Once inside, a visitor may ascend an internal staircase to the top. The drystone is reinforced, and spells are applied to made the insides warm even in the grasp of winter, as long as the fires are lit. Internal cells make for bedrooms, and the roof is thatch-turned-stone, all of which is treated with spells to reduce the probability of catching on fire

There's also a large amount of deer on the island, though most of the deer are brought in from elsewhere.

As Glasgow is a port city, there are numerous lovely homes to be found by the water. This is one such example, and these beautiful townhomes have even more beautiful views. They are spacious homes with a kitchen after immediately entering the home, with a small dining area and a living room. There is a deck in the back, and both bedrooms can be found upstairs, and while it's a Muggle neighborhood, there are plenty of wizards and witches living here and in the surrounding area.

The castle, because yes it's a castle, sits overlooking the River Dee with 4 reception rooms, conservatory, 10 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Over 1,000 acres of land make up the property that Perenelle calls home in Scotland. Château de Flamel is an all-round lowground estate with a useful combination of main house, farmhouse, five cottages, productive farmland, commercial and amenity woodlands, various sportings, the site of a telecommunications mast, and a very attractive wildlife reserve. Of particular note is the privacy of the estate, being situated beside the River Dee and Loch Ken.

Dolohov Castle

Dolohov Castle is a very fine Scottish Baronial mansion house which is dominated by its square central tower, and which occupies a fine south east facing position, with views over surrounding countryside. The tower itself is four storeys high and has a corbelled and crenallated wallhead with cannon water spouts, and an angle stair turret. The entrance front has a neo-Jacobean door piece with cable moulded architraves and a coat of arms above, together with two angle drum towers. It is a magnificent building with corbelling and crow stepped gables.

Internally an entrance hall opens onto a stunning reception hall with a fine Italian mosaic tiled floor and a magnificent staircase, with a continuous decorative cast and wrought iron balustrade, which leads up to the first floor galleried landing and which is lit by a stained glass cupola. Off the reception hall are the principal reception rooms. These include the dining room which has a richly decorated coffered plaster ceiling, panelled doors and window shutters, together with the drawing room which along with the adjoining sitting room has a fine gilded and panelled ceiling and a white marble fireplace. Also off the western inner hallway, which has Victorian tiling is the ballroom which links to the smoke room. Beyond is the cellar/gun room.

Holm of Huip

To the non-magical eye, this northern Orkney island is barren and habitable for only three months of the year; however, those with magic know it well as the seat of the Urquart family. Nestled between Sanday and Stronsay, Holm of Huip is covered in greenery and some ancient ruins. At one of the island's peaks rests the Urquart residence, a mansion made of river rock, standing tall as it overlooks the northern coast of the island. Stone steps lead to the first floor via the foyer, which is right next to the dining room. Straight ahead is the kitchen and breakfast nook on the right; on the left, there is a study and the master suite belonging to the Lord and Lady Urquart (which, of course, has its own fireplace). Upstairs, there is a rec room and three bedroooms, all with their own en suite. The rec room leads out to the patio at the back of the house, which has a beautiful view of the ocean.

Although these studio apartments are relatively small, they are very nice, as these are newly made apartments. They are located in Muggle Edinburgh, and both Muggles and magical folk live here, though the building is owned by a squib, and hence separates them by sides of the building. Residents would walk in to a hallway, finding the bathroom on the side, and the living space in the main room. There is a very small kitchen, and wide windows to look out at the beautiful city.

This massive home resides in a private community in Aberdeen, Scotland. The towering stone house has polished white doors as its entrance, and visitors are instantly welcomed by an enormous entrance hall. There is a living room to the left, overlooking the front yard, and Art’s office to the right. Delving deeper into the ground floor, one will find an open kitchen and breakfast room, a rather majestic dining room, and a games room. The backyard has a summer room and a garden, as well as a swimming pool to the side. Upstairs, on the first floor, are Art and Titania’s bedroom, Vivien’s bedroom, Wednesday’s bedroom, and a guest bedroom. On the second floor are Perseus’ bedroom, Zephyrus’ bedroom, and Olivette’s bedroom. Back down to the basement, one will find a fully stocked bar, equipped with a pool table and a dartboard (of course), a cinema room, the utilities closet, and some open storage space that Art uses as his work lab.

These large apartments are located in magical Glasgow, on one of their busiest streets, and is aptly named after one of the founders of Hogwarts, who was a Scottish-born witch. There is a large living room and dining room, and a spacious bathroom, as well as a walk-in closet and large bedroom. It is perfect for anyone who wants to be where all the action is in Glasgow, but is not too far away from Muggle Glasgow, for those that like spending time in that world as well.

These three bedroom townhomes are located in a quieter part of Edinburgh, though in an entirely magical neighborhood. They are the perfect homes for a family, though they are only a quick apparition away from the Edinburgh nightlife for those that are interested in that as well. Downstairs, one would fine the living and dining area, and one bedroom, while upstairs has the other two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a front deck overlooking the street, as well as a patio in the back of the home.

Set in a wonderful south facing secluded position overlooking its own parkland along with surrounding farmland and woodland, the house is constructed of brick under a tiled roof. The rooms flow effortlessly around the beautiful central reception hall. There are period features throughout the house including ornate cornicing, large sash windows, herringbone wood floors and intricately carved fireplaces. The house is entered through the semi-circular entrance hall with double doors into the reception hall which includes two separate seating areas with fireplaces at either end.

The principal reception rooms comprise a large well-proportioned west facing drawing room with French doors to the outside, ’snug’, large games/ music room with raised stage, dining room with bay window and fitted cabinetry and large kitchen/breakfast room with Aga, fitted cupboards, central island with granite top, fitted appliances, breakfast area and pantry. The east wing, with its gymnasium, double garage, laundry room and separate garage on the ground floor, has two first floor studies and an estate office (with ensuite bathroom).

On the first floor there is a large master bedroom suite in the south western corner of the house overlooking the garden and grounds with ensuite bathroom and dressing room. The master bedroom suite enjoys a further separate dressing room across the landing. The remainder of the first floor comprises two guest bedroom suites both with adjoining bathrooms, two further bedrooms, two family bathrooms and a linen cupboard.
