Baker's Corner

Anyone that first glanced at the sign would think that this little shop tucked just down the way from the university was a little bakery, but they would be wrong. It's much more than that once you get inside. Slip inside, and you'll realize that it's actually one of the biggest bookstores in Cork. Magically anyway. And if you ask for the 'House Special' an employee is likely to hand you whatever book they are currently reading as a recommendation.

This outcropping of cliffs is a local tourist destination. There are people from all walks of life here, but if you look closely you may just realize that what you're seeing down in the fathoms below, aren't fish, and natural wildlife... Those are mermaids. And the wind blowing all around you, the ghosts of those that have stood there before... Don't let the freezing spray from the rough waves deter you, dive on in, see if you can make it out alive...

Jainsley Brewery

Eileen Jainsley was probably the last person that anyone would have expected to start a brewery, but she did, and they make some of the best Irish beer that you've ever had. At least in Cork. Because she's not about to go bragging that it's the best beer in Ireland, even if it really sort of is, just ask the locals.

The Brewery evolved into more of a pub than anything, and while they still make most of their beers in house, they have both domestic and foreign spirits of other kinds, along with a full menu that boasts some pretty spectacular potato based options.

Though the owner, and all of the employees in this place are magical, there's nothing stopping muggles from walking in the front door and asking for a hair cut, or a manicure. There are plenty of bays here, and there is more than one room for different things to be happening. It's one of the biggest salons in all of Cork really.

This bridge over the River Lee is a place that locals, along with the tourists, travel to get to the main shopping street of the city of Cork in the south of Ireland. There are both muggle, and magical shops along the street... If you know where to go...

This little shop is hidden along a side street in the village, but if you know where to look you can find it in an instant. Muggles tend to skip right over it, between the home goods store on the right, and the bookshop on the left, but there it is... Sitting in the middle of the line of shops, a treasure in and of itself. Inside you will find any number of wonderful things, from jewels and handbags, to the rarest of collectibles.

Cork

This city is just inland from Ireland's southwest coast, and is a university city with its centre on an island in the River Lee, which is connected to the sea by Cork Harbour. It is the third largest city in the country, and is a popular holiday destination because of its warm weather and huge coastline.
