Nachkrapp Quidditch Pitch

Even though some Muggles say Germany is the only country in the world that loves history more than football, the same can't be said for the magical community. They still love their Quidditch -- their league, as well as the World Cup. The Fischer Quidditch pitch is hidden within the Black Forest, which makes it easier to keep it hidden. It is where the German National Team plays their matches and practices, though when they are not practicing or playing, it is open to the public.

The Black Forest is in the southwest of Germany and spans over 2,300 miles. It got its name because the woods are so tense, the sun couldn't penetrate the thick trees. It's home to many magical creatures, including a clan of vampires, as well as bowtruckles, erklings, and Merlin knows what else. There are plenty of ghost stories surrounding the woods, and not all of them are just stories...

When two men met at try-outs for a band, one playing the violin and one playing the guitar, they couldn't be more different. They didn't like each other, and thought that the other's music was hardly music at all. They named it after the instruments that they loved, but that had kept them closed-minded. It had also been what brought them together to love music, and thus came this shop's name. It had all the instruments, and sheet music that anyone could need, as well as anything else a musician could want.

There is a large magical community in Freiburg, and as such magical shops can be found just about everywhere, if a person only knows where to look. This bookshop is wedged between a Muggle coffee shop, and the headquarters for a small magazine. Muggles would just pass right by it, but a witch or wizard could slip inside and buy all the books their hearts desire. There are all subjects, including a section for the slightly darker magic in the back, behind a curtain. Not anything too explicitly illegal, of course...

Freiburg im Breisgau is a city in southwest Germany, in the Black Forest. It is known for its nice climate, and a reconstructed medieval old town, and picturesque brooks. It is considered to be 'the Jewel of the Black Forest'. Wizarding folk know that said forest is home to many vampires, as well as erklings, bowtruckles, and many other creatures.
