Zoe is known for her long hair. Brown locks she does absolutely nothing to besides brush and use a potion to keep it from frizzing. She’s short, only reaching 5'1" on at the age of 17, and takes great pride in her height. Zoe has a natural tan to her skin. She is active a lot and playing Quidditch has helped her build up some muscles. She was taught to sit up with a straight back and to never slouch. However, when she isn’t around her family or in school uniform she doesn’t really follow that rule. Zoe tends to wear shirts too long and shorts too short.

Zoe likes transfiguration and charms as she can be pretty handy with a wand. She has a weird interest in plants and has helped her a lot in herbology. The youngest Shafiq is wonderful at doing the opposite of what her father tells her to do. Zoe rather good at Quidditch but it's nothing to brag about.

If there is one thing you should know, Zoe is extremely terrible at potions. She never had a pet to bring to school with her as animals seem to not like her in slightest. The family has always been a problem for her. She loves almost all of them very dearly but she doesn’t like when they tell her what to do. Zoe tends to run when it comes to dealing with actual problems.

Zoe Genevieve Shafiq was born on the twenty-first of October as theyoungest child to Alfred Shafiq and Diana Travers-Shfaiq. from birth her parents started to try and mold her into what they wanted her to be. She was expected to be sweet, polite, quiet and elegnant. None of these things she was ever really good at. She was a clumpsy little girl and she got excited very easily. Mum and Dad would not give up. Zoe quickly began to learn how she was supposed to act and made sure she acted that way when she knew she absolutely had to.
It was around the age of nine that Zoe unknowningly learned just how far her family would go to be pure. She hadn't performed any kind of accidently magic and her parents were preparing plans to send her away. They had thought it happened again. That another one of their children was a squib. When the decision was made that Zoe could not stay with her family her things were to be packed up slowly. At first, Zoe didn't realized anything unusual until she saw her father put one of her toys in a hall closet and lock it.
Zoe was unable to figure out what was going on but as more of her things began to disappear she threw fits. One day she decided she was going to figure out where everything was going. She left out one of her dolls in the sitting room and hid and watched as her father entered the room and took the toy and left. Zoe followed carefully followed her father to a coset she had never really noticed before. He opened up the closet, placed the toy in and closed the closet and locked it. Once it was clear, Zoe went to the door and attempted openning. She pulled and tugged on the handle until Xiomara was near by. Zoe demanded that her sister opened the closet but Xiomara continued to refuse and apologize to Zoe. Annoyed at her sister, Zoe turned back to the closet and swiftly kicked it. Just like that magic popped open the door and Zoe grabbed her doll and a few other of her belongings before running off to her room. The next day all her belongs were returned to her room and nothing was ever really said about it all.
Hogwarts was great for Zoe. She was free from her family for a little while and she got to learn to fly. She soon learned that she had a love for flying and that soonly turned into a love of Quidditch as well. This didn't go over well with some of the people in her family. She was always unsure if it was because of her being the baby of the family or if quidditch wasn't considered ladylike. Then again it could be completely because she did break her wrist in the first week of playing quidditch. Then she fractured her tibia about a year later. She was always prone to bumps and bruises but these injuries did cause some worry from her family.

Alfred Shafiq was the oldest son of Heydar and Clara Shafiq. Along with this sister Christiana and brother Xanther, Alfred was raised to have purist ideals. Muggles and muggleborns were dirty, filthy, and unworthy. Heydar joined a group of other purebloods, much like himself, becoming a marked and masked Death Eater. He wanted to support his family and the cause that meant so very much to him. He was given a bride from another family and they married quickly. They barely liked each other, not really even getting along. They did their duty and produced and heir, Castor.
Somewhere along the way between their eldest and second eldest (Judus) being born that the stress of everything kind of lifted for a while and the two finally got a chance to get to know each other. It wasn’t love, not really, but they were able to get to know each other and liked each other to have five more children. Life for them was never easy. It was never going to be easy, and they knew that, especially when one of their twin daughters turned out to be a squib. The war was lost to them, both the first and the second, and Heydar was sent off to Azkaban, leaving Alfred to be the head of the family.
In 2013 Heydar was released to the work camp along with quite a few others who had been approved for release. Both men hated it, but loved being home again with their family. There were a few occasions in which Heydar almost died and once where he ended up in St. Mungo’s Diana was not happy with any of it and she did her best to keep her children out of this mess, and moved them from the Shafiq Manor into a smaller house in Gloucestershire.
Both Alfred and Heydar were involved in the attack on the Ministry and on Diagon Alley. After the take over the family moved back to the Manor and now all share residence, save for the boys as they live in their own family homes.
