Sebastian Fletcher Lopez was born on May 17, 1998, as the first born of Alejandro and Juliet Lopez. He didn't spend long on his own and was joined by his younger brother Santiago George over a year later, and in three more the boys were joined by Isabella Catherine. This was making the family complete. The three grew up in a relatively normal life. They learned about the magical world as both parents came from magical families. They were understood that not all people were gifted with magic like they were as their mother did chores around the house with out the help of a wand. Bash took the role of a big brother very well. He teased his siblings but protected them when he could. He showed them how to do things and was always the one to get them out of trouble even if that meant taking the blame himself.
Going to Hogwarts for his first year was weird for Bash. He had grown up so close to his family. Being away from them didn't feel right, but he was able to find his place. He made friends and took a strong liking in quidditch with this group of friends. He practically led the group through his need to be continually doing something. He struggled in his classes, and though it mattered a lot the first year of school, the importance disappeared when Santi joined him the following year.
Santiago wasn't anything like Bash. He was smart, and he was noticeably shorter. It made him a target to many of the older student. Santi wasn't good at defending himself as Bash had always been there to make sure he didn't get hurt in any way. After a few months of hiding the bullying from his brother Bash found out, and things changed quickly. As someone who didn't do well in school and only being a second year, he wasn't able to fight off the students with magic. Catching one of the boys taunting his little brother Bash hit the kid square in the face and breaking his nose. Due to the circumstances of the situation and it being his first real offense besides being late to a class Bash was let off rather easy. Word spread of Bash's way of showing his anger physically spread and Santi was left alone.
Bash continued to struggle in school and got occasional help from his brother if it was possible. On occasion he would get in trouble by his parents for his marks but only if they were bad enough for a professor to send home a letter in concern. Punishments never much and were hard to keep in place with the distance between Sebastion and his parents. But whenever he heard from them, he focused a bit more in school. It was never a miraculous turn around with him. Once his grade went back up, his study habits went away until the grades dipped back down again. All he had to do was apply himself. He had a good work ethic when he wanted to, and his study habits weren't bad. He just hadn't seen a point of it all for himself.
Bash's seventh year was the time of his life. He was on top of the world, and nothing could take him down. At least that was what he completely believed. Halfway through the school year, it was clear that his grades were not getting any better. They were worse than ever, but this didn't frighten the boy. He continued to practice whenever he could and joke around with his friends when he was inside the castle. The more the year continued, the less time he spent in class and the more detentions he was assigned. Still, nothing fazed the athlete. He didn't need school to be a famous quidditch player. In the end, Bash failed his seventh year terribly. The only thing he did any good in was Care of Magical Creatures, a class that only came so naturally to him.
He was returning home after that year was not pretty. The second he stepped off that train it was clear that his parents were fully aware that he didn't precisely accomplish a well-completed education. But nothing was said to him. His parents let him do what he wanted and didn't stop him. Bash persuaded his quidditch team and made it to becoming a reserve for a team. A team that showed him the ways of a famous quidditch player. Drinks, drinks, and drinks it was. This was when the young man's parents worried and practically through an intervention. They told him to clean himself up, and it affected Bash in a very odd way. He left the team and proposed returning to Hogwarts actually to do his final year of school.
Repeating his seventh year and completing his education entirely was not a requirement for Sebastian. His parents, though disappointment in their son's fail attempt in his final year, said he didn't have to return to Hogwarts. Bash saw the look in his parent's eyes. The disappointment in him was evident, and he wanted to do whatever he could do to change that. So he decided that he would return to Hogwarts and repeat his seventh year. There were just a few conditions with it. His parents told him no quidditch (he couldn't even bring his broom to school), he had to meet up with his brother and study at least once a week, no detentions, no Hogsmeade weekends, and he will be staying at the school during breaks so he'll have all the time he needs to study. He didn't put up a fight. He didn't believe that he would be allowed to do some of these things going back anyway though he was very disappointed about the quidditch part. Its what he wants to do after school. A year without practice would make him a weaker player and make the struggle to get on a team harder.
Terrianne Weasley was someone Bash never expected to enter his life. There weres so many things he had never pictured in his life until Terri came along. He didn't think he would ever date someone for longer than a few months until much much later in his life. But him becoming a dad was something he never pictured would happen. He had good big brother traits, but he didn't think he would be a good father. But when she told him she was pregnant, he had the thought that maybe he could do it as long as it was with her.
Bash would continue his streak of disappointing those around him. After two months of not hearing from his mother and father, who had left England for Spain a year prior, had set him down. His father had written once in response to the news of a grandchild. His brother had said that he was working on getting them to come around but he too eventually stopped contacting Bash too. All he seemed to have left now was Terrianne and Isabella. Not wanting to worry Terrianne he didn't bring up what was going on with his family too much. He told her they weren't speaking to him but he never let in on how much it bothered him. He hadn't realized he distanced himself until Valentine's day. Once again Terrianne and he had broken up and he reacted the same way as he had done before. No, he was worse. There was more drinking. He quit the team. He even spent a night in a muggle jail.
April 1st, 2019. He had been out the night before. Bash had been drinking the night before and got into a small fight. So when his sister saw him heading to the maternity ward with a black eye and the slight scent of alcohol following him, she brought him to a different part of St. Mungos. She got him to shower and found a healer to get him in a more presentable state. He sat in a waiting room on a different floor, drinking coffee and eating what Isabella had brought for food. She brought him updates until not long before his daughter was born. He couldn't be more thankful for his sister.
Seeing Terrianne holding Payton that day made Bash have a realization that he had thought he had made twice before in his life. The first time was when he promised his mom; he would repeat his seventh year and do better. The second time was when he told Terrianne he would be better. He had brook those promises. He had disappointed both of them. He hated living with that feeling. Bash decided on April 1st, 2019 that he was going to do everything in his life he could to prevent himself from being a disappointment to Payton. He was going to be a better person. They both knew they had to tell each other about the magical world at some point. Who Juliet never changed what Al thought of her. They married only a few years before Voldemort took power again. And when the man rose to power the couple began running fo their lives. Juliet wanted to push Al away but the man refused to do so. He had so much hope that everything would be fine.
