REGARDING THE DECLARATION
OF NATIONAL EMERGENCY
OF NATIONAL EMERGENCY
On the Sixth of September of last year this office declared a State of Emergency for all of Wizarding Great Britain. The purpose of such an act was to minimize the global impact of Epidemic X.
After much discussion with our colleagues from the International Confederation of Wizards, and in light of recent foreign events, I, as the Minister for Magic of Great Britain, hereby revoke the complete travel ban in favor of one such law as this:
Anyone seeking to leave Wizarding Great Britain and any and all counties thereof which have been impacted by the original Declaration of Emergency, may do so after a clean bill of health is issued by a major hospital, or recognized health care facility, and is on record with the Ministry of Magic’s Health and Human Services Department, before departure.
All imports and exports are subject to the same treatment, though this will reopen our borders for trade and commerce. Any and all cargo entering, and most especially leaving, the country, will be thoroughly checked for any trace of the virus which has caused this terrible Epidemic.
It is of note, that the State of Emergency is still in effect as a whole. And trips out of the country for leisure should be kept at an extreme minimum. The Ministry of Magic shall retain the right to deny passage out of the country to any individual, as per the discretion of the Head of the Health and Human Services Department, and or the Minister for Magic.
Any and all questions will be directed to the Office of the Minister for Magic, or the Offices of Health and Human Services.
