I Won't Be Told What's Supposed to Be Right

The thing was, after all the shit hit the fan and the world became chaos, Bellamy did what he did best: survived and never compromised who he was. There hadn't been much he could do to fight back on his own, except to unashamedly be himself at every opportunity; to dress how he liked and act how he liked and to face anyone who talked shit with the determination of someone who knew their worth. He was a Queen, whatever else they said, and Queens didn't listen to the haters. So he came back as soon as he was able, and kept living his life however he saw fit. Revamped his Youtube channel a bit, built his wardrobe back up from almost nothing and taped a lot of it for the vlog, learned that he was stronger than anyone gave him credit for--including himself. He may look tamer than he used to be, in less obnoxious outfits and nude makeup, but his spirit was stronger than ever and ready for a fight. When offered the chance to go back and pursue his NEWTs, Bell declined, because what use were they when he'd never planned on a career in anything magical. So he studied and took his A-levels, and now he's a blossoming stylist and tailor mostly for mostly muggles, but he'll take whatever business he can get. Not many wizards appreciate his sense of style, however.

He was just stopping by Piece of Cake for a tasty treat and a coffee before he met with a potential client to discuss wardrobe ideas and to offer his estimate of what it would cost for his services. A flat rate would be nice, but Bell had found that using a flat rate tended to turn some people away before they even considered it, so he preferred to meet them and get a feel for what they were willing to pay. It didn't always work in his favor, but it worked better than the flat rate had. He was making enough to keep his head afloat, a roof and four walls to live in with enough extra to stop for treats every so often. It wouldn't make him rich any time soon, but it was better than nothing. He was just turning away from the counter with his purchases--a flaky berry turnover and a vanilla latte--when he spotted a friendly face. "Walker, darling! What a surprise, how have you been?"
