STUDENT INTERNSHIP & SUMMER JOBS

Sixth and seventh year students at Hogwarts have the ability to take on an internship in different areas of the magical world. If your student is interested in a specific profession, just fill out the form below and they can be considered for the position. This is a fantastic way for a character to see what job they are going to take upon graduation, as well as giving them experience in the real world!

Also, if you go on an absence, internships will be held for three months. After that time, if we haven't heard from you and you're still on an absence, we will be freeing up that spot for someone else to potentially take.

Over the summer months, characters are able to get summer jobs as well. These can be in any shop position, but not in the Ministry or Publications, or most anything else except for an occasional Misc. job. Students must be sixteen or older to have a summer job, though they can be fifteen with parental permission. Both codes are down below.

Internship Interested In: Intern in International Magical Cooperation
Why is your character interested in this internship? She's interested in this position, because she thinks it'll help her politically. She thinks it'll be a way to bring some sort of honor to her name, and have people see her as-- well, the type of half-blood that's the good kind.
Her father's family has typically kept themselves a step out of British society, so she thinks it would be interesting to learn how to work with other countries.
How do you think your character would benefit from this internship? Well, it's a good excuse to never be at home
It would help her build connections with people, and feel more secure about her place, because thanks to differing familial values and changing minds, it's somewhat all over the board of possibilities. She thinks it would be useful to learn and understand other countries better, as well.
Incidentally, she feels like she's getting rusty in French, and thinks it would be a good opportunity to become less rusty.

Why is your character interested in this internship? She had the internship last year and would love to continue to learn more about healing.
How do you think your character would benefit from this internship? Truly wishes to be a healer and though she had her doubts last year she is sure now more than anything that is what she wants to do and getting this hands on experience is something that is more valuable than she could ever explain.

Internship Interested In: Avalon School of Ballet
Why is your character interested in this internship? Above all else, Terrianne loves to dance. Where others loved Quidditch she loved the way that she could express herself. She found ways to show how she was feeling, to emote when her words were not enough. Dance is one of the few things (besides her twin) that helps to keep her sane.
How do you think your character would benefit from this internship? It would put her in an atmosphere to be around not only other dancers, but those who work in the business. She can be taught, she can dance, and she can find out if she has a future in one of the few things that she has a passion for.

Why is your character interested in this internship? honestly they're very interested in creatures-- both in the taking-care-of, and somewhat in the internal functions of. but also in care and observing and learning more. (though, tbh, they also wouldn't mind observing dissections and whatnot if such opportunities were offered). honestly most of this department completely excites them
How do you think your character would benefit from this internship? They intend to work in that department, after the requisite degrees at Lufkin have been earned. it would also help narrow down which part of it they want to work in

Why is your character interested in this internship? Terrianne is really interested in fashion and she wants to go to school for design when she finishes school.
How do you think your character would benefit from this internship? She would learn more about the fashion world and industry, not to mention get to meet leaders of the industry.
