NPC ADULT REGISTRAR
Similar to our NPC Student Registrar, we are now allowing you to register for your character's adult NPCs. Now, this comes with a few more stipulations than a student character does, and we will explain that here as well. But first, to anyone that might not understand what this is even for, we'll explain that first. All of our characters have family (well most of them do at least), and those families have jobs. However, you might find yourself in a bit of an awkward situation, when you have been writing that your character's husband, say, is the head of the department of international magical cooperation, which there is obviously only one of. Then, someone creates a character with that position. All of a sudden, you're in a bit of an awkward situation, where you have to potentially backtrack, especially if said new character's history says they've had the job for years.
This will solve that problem! Now, you can claim your NPC family member's jobs for them! This helps our characters, and helps us because we can more fully develop our character's families, without feeling like we have to be vague to avoid an unfortunate situation coming up! Now as you can imagine, there are rules for such things. Any claims that involve canon families must first be on the site tree, first and foremost! That makes sure we are keeping track of our lines! Second, the last thing we want, is for someone to create a new character, and feel like they have absolutely no options because every job that they wanted is already claimed by a character that isn't even real! That is absolutely something that we want to avoid. Luckily for us, there are very few jobs that only have one position available! Most have multiple, which works out quite well. However, there are those rare occasions, where you make a character and their father/mother/sister/brother/husband just... happens to be something, and you can't help that! We don't want to tell you that no you can't make your NPC the head of the department of magical education. However, there are a few jobs that we will not give to NPCs: Minister, Head of the Wizengamot, Supreme Mugwump, Headmaster/Headmistress of Hogwarts, Deputy Headmaster/Headmistress of Hogwarts, and head of houses.
But we do have rules, if you are claiming a power position for an NPC. That would be as followed: a Hogwarts professor, a Hogwarts head of house, or really any position in Hogwarts as there is only one of each, any head of department in the Ministry, or a head of any of the offices, including head of the auror training program, head of the hit-wizard training program, and head of the unspeakable training program, any editor of any publication, and the head of the healer training program. If you create a character, and you are sure that their NPC family member has any of the previously mentioned positions as a job, you can request it, with the following stipulations.
We also are simply going to ask for month and year of birth as well as house, so that when we add them to their job, we can also add them to the alumni roster! That will help everyone looking to see if they would know that person! For all you know, maybe you're plotting for two people to meet, and you have them as strangers, and didn't even realize that perhaps character A went to school with character B's brother, and would have heard of them before! It will help to eliminate those problems and hopefully add in a lot of fun plotting experiences!
And as another perk, maybe you'll put a character in a job, and someone will come along and see it one day and ask to make that character! It's like a built in advertisement for your NPC So if you are interested, just fill out the form below. Please keep it to direct family -- no claiming jobs for second cousins, three times removed, or anything like that! And have fun!

- You must post an adoptable for that family member.
- At any time, if an admin thinks that you've claimed too many NPC power positions, we can start denying them, or asking you to choose some to remove.
- If at any time, another member comes to staff and asks about the position, and wants it for a character they are creating, you have a month to find someone to create the character -- or, you must justify why it is so important for your NPC to have this position. Otherwise, your NPC will have to vacate the position.
