A BREAK IS NEEDED
Another day, another lunch break, another salad. If someone had never seen Nadine outside of work eat then they would probably be convinced she lived off of salads. Everyday she had one for lunch. It was a nice light lunch to have while working. And in the young woman's opinion, salads were the best during the summer. She made her salads fresh every morning but in the summer when the garden could grow the ingredients with out the aid of magic the ingredients tasted the best.
Making food was something Nadine enjoyed so she very serious about the salads she made and very proud of them too. Honestly, if anyone ever asked her to make them one she would have no problem doing so. That is as long as they didn't ask while she was on her way to go enjoy her salad.
Nadine walked into the break room and bee lined straight for the fridge. She only gave a nod to one of the younger healers who was leaving the room as she entered. Luckily he just gave her a hello and didn't ask how she was. That nod would have come off as weird if he had. Her always present smile got a little bigger when she spotted the Tupperware that held her lunch.
Turning from the fridge Nadine finally took in the room and who the occupants were. She was never really fond of having to find a seat to sit in the break room. It felt like she was back in the great hall some days. Who do you sit with? Luckily Nadine saw Anna and knew that she would be no bother by sitting with the other nurse. She placed her lunch on the table. "Hello Anna," she said as she sat at the table, "How are you?"
