The waitress left and only then did Oriel offer an objection to Jaxon covering the cost of dinner. "Well, I was taught payin' feel to the person who had asked--and well, you were headed back to the castle and I dragged ye off to dinner." Jaxon offered as an explanation.

"But if you wanna buy, go ahead. I ain't no bother to me either way." The seeker commented, throwing his hands up momentairly in surrender. He was leaning back now in the more, more casual than before. No need to be close to the table now that all the food was gone. He pulled his beer closer, tracing over the frosty outside with his long fingers.

Taking a drink of the lager, Jaxon watched Oriel over the glass. Eyes appraising-- and praising all at once. "You got anywhere to be now?" The Cole asked. The expression he wore bore hints of hopefulness that Oriel would say no--and be interested in coming back to the cabin.

"Maybe instead of goin' back to the castle--or your art dominated flat--you should come home with me. Dinner bein' done ain't no reason our evenin' needs to end." That come hither grin was dominating his face; his dimple hopefully working its magic to lure the alchemy professor into some sin for the night.

"I'll even promise french toast in the mornin', if you wanna stay," Jaxon was feeling like keeping the professor up all night...and despite not letting himself have a relationship, sometimes he didn't really want to sleep alone...or wake up alone...He didn't like to be alone. He wanted people around him; it made him feel more like himself--like his old self, before he had been bitten.

Oriel nodded with a slight smile. It was just more comfortable for him that way, it was nothing personal or anything like that and he appreciated Jaxon being so relaxed about it. Because there were certain things he was not relaxed about. Like feeling like he was being used. Sure, they had casual sex, but it wasn't using him, because Jaxon treated him like a person and not like just a body.

He watched Jaxon's adam's apple bob up and down as he drank, before meeting his eyes when he started talking again. Had Jaxon really thought Oriel would refuse going home with him? Truly, Oriel had known where this was heading as soon as the offer to have dinner passed the man's lips. Because if Jaxon didn't come on to him of his own accord, Oriel would do it himself. He had no problem with admitting that he found the player to be near irresistible.

Oriel was about to answer him and tell him how truly ridiculous he thought it was that Jaxon even considered the possibility of Oriel heading anywhere else right now, when Jaxon offered breakfast. That was new, very new. The time before he'd left before the other man had even awoken, so offering him french toast was a whole different thing. Not that he thought it meant anything other than a simple friendly gesture after a fun night, but still. It was nice.

"Sure, I've got nowhere to be." He knew that for the second time that night, his surprise was visible on his face. He counted out a dozen galleons and piled them on the table before his eyes turned back to Jaxon's face. He knew his pupils were blown, but Jaxon's own eyes were almost completely black too. Well, this was a predictable ending. Predictable, but so good.

He got to his feet, waving the waitress off -he still hadn't remembered her name- and pointing to the pile of coins for her to understand. When she nodded and held her thumbs up, he turned back to the other man.

"I think we're ready to go." He winked.

The departure from the Three Broomsticks and all that followed was exactly what anyone would have expected of the sex addicted werewolf. Little was sleep was had by either--opting for the most delightful cardio exercise instead of mundane rest to occupy most of the hours of the night. When sleep finally took them in the wee hours of the morning, the loneliness that permeated Jaxon's life was appeased--at least for the moment. He still work at sunrise...and went for his usual run. He did not allow himself to make excuses ever. Every day he went--whether he had been out all night drinking, shagging, or even the day after the full moon. Every day. No exceptions.

Extracting himself from Oriel's arms was difficult. Both because he did not want to leave the warm of his companion--and because he was attempting to do so without waking the alchemist who he had kept up quite literally for so long last night.

He made quick work of the five miles and was back inside the cabin in about half an hour. A cooling off dip in the river outside had left his hair wet and his clothes discarded on the porch. Dripping water through the house from them would have only meant something for him to clean up--and cleaning charms were not his forte...and he really did not want to do it the muggle way. And plus, why wear clothes when he could be naked? Born that way, would stay that way always if society would allow it.

Jaxon was in the kitchen, dipping pieces of bread into eggs when his were enhanced hearing caught the noises of Oriel climbing from the bed. "Down here-" he called as the first piece of French toast hit the pan.

Oriel groaned himself awake, sheets draped over him only barely since Jaxon had provided enough warmth to not need them once they'd fallen asleep. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't tired, he was surprised he was able to keep up with the seeker since his jobs weren't exactly athletic. Sure, he liked going out for runs, but he wasn't an athlete. Either way, there was no doubt that he'd enjoyed himself, and the marks on his skin were easily visible in the bathroom mirror once he'd gotten up.

They'd been just as clear the last time, but he'd left before the sun was high enough to see them clearly. Now... well. That definitely was something. His previous partners had all been rough, but not in the same way. More in the... selfish way. Here, Jaxon was after his own pleasure, sure, but he hadn't sacrificed Oriel's fun for it. Not something he'd had much experience with before, but it was nice.

Oriel found his pants before going downstairs, trying to unstable his hair as he walked. The air was already filled with the delicious smell of french toast when he arrived in the kitchen, and he still couldn't really understand why the other male had offered breakfast. But he'd take it, he was hungry as hell.

"Mornin'." He leaned against the counter, giving up on his hair and twisting it into a knot, pinning it in place with his wand. "That smells so good, you have no idea how hungry I am. I'll get the coffee, shall I?"
