Fenix had a large smile on his face as he finished making sure that the caterer was doing what they should, not to mention tht he needed the music and drinks to be on point too. His house was open to the public, and wards were in place to keep peple from going into the upper part of the house where the private things were being kept. He needed this he had needed something to do, and what was funner than a bunch of drunk folks in his house dancing with him? Who knows he might meet someone and get himself a new fuck buddy or friend. After all, he had told Maryssa that he was rather friendly after all.

He popped a strawberry into his mouth from the fruit bowl and then motioned for the girl to open the door for the first guests. This was going to be fun! He laughed a little to himself and then picked up his guitar before making himself comfortable.

Parties weren't usually Tabby's thing since the Accident, but Merlin she just wanted to go out and have a good time for once. Forget about her problems for a few hours. Getting drunk at home was more her typical weekend. She never drank on the job, of course, too grateful to have it at all to do anything so ruinous as get drunk around students. When she'd heard about the party at Fenix's place, she'd thrown caution to the wind and decided to go. A basic pain relief potion would keep her leg from acting up too badly, she hoped, and if it didn't then she hoped she'd be drunk enough that it wouldn't matter.

Her outfit wasn't anything complicated or flashy, a simple color scheme of black and red with no heels because there was no reason to wear her knee out faster than would already happen. It was fairly casual but still classy enough for a party, she thought. When she entered, she surveyed the room, realizing that she'd arrived fairly early given the lack of many attendees just yet. Not that it mattered too much, because it would give her a chance to loosen up with a few drinks before it started in earnest. She ordered a rum and coke to start and sipped at a leisurely pace, content to wait for more people to arrive.

Conrad didn't get many invitations to go to parties, but he had got one and he was going. Fenix had sent him the invite, Conrad and Fenix had been in the same year at Hogwarts but in different houses. He figured going to a party would help his mood, socializing always helped. Spending time home alone or in the company of his Cousin and Aunt would be a general scenario of Conrad's weekend, and sometimes he had the misfortune of running into his traitor of a brother.

His outfit was something he wasn't usually seen in, he had taken a pain relief potion for his arm, he didn't want it to affect his party mood. Conrad made his way to Fenix's place, apperating from his apartment. When he entered he found that he was there early, there weren't many people there yet. He licked his lips looking around for any familiar faces, he didn't see any but there was Fenix there, and so Conrad sent a nod towards him in greeting. He ordered a fire-whiskey, he needed something strong and he began taking small sips of the drink.

Carys wasn't quite sure that she was dressed appropriately for a rockstar's party, considering she'd never been to one before. She knew that few people would really have an opportunity to attend something like this though, and whether she was dressed properly or not, she was planning on having a good time. She was pretty worried about it, and kept having to clench her hands slightly just to stop herself from running home in disgrace or something.

Well... That was if she didn't find herself camped out in the kitchen as she usually did at parties, either making hungry people things like pancakes after one or another of her friends mentioned that she made good ones, or in many cases just because she didn't know what to do or how to talk to people without making a fool of herself.

Really, in truth, Carys wasn't really sure she was appropriate for a party as cool sounding as this, no matter what she was wearing... And that was really hardly different to how she usually dressed outside work, only her top was a little lower than she might wear day to day, and she was wearing her more dressy boots after losing an argument with herself about whether she could get away with her leather boots or not.

She was going to the party with Chet, but she wasn't really sure what was going on there if she was honest. Do you know what's going on with anything though? Carys asked herself as they arrived outside and she wiggled her shoulders impatiently, trying to calm herself down a little before they went in.

Carys already knew that she was going to have at least a few near misses with her nervousness, especially if she was required to talk to lots of people. She wasn't in the same sort of mood as the Gala, after all, and she hadn't really had a chance to talk herself up before Chester had arrived, knocking on the door to her flat and making her jump to high heaven, dropping her tea everywhere and trying in vain to smother her half scream.

After he'd taken her home from the Gala and gracefully accepted that she wanted to end the evening there, and before anything happened between them, she hadn't really expected him to stay in touch, but her reaction to his knock on the door that evening had been almost identical to the one she'd had when she'd read the owl he'd sent her a few days after the event.

They were, to Carys at least, probably going to this party as friends alone, because by this point in time she'd almost given up on actually having anyone who might not friend, or worse, zone her within minutes of meeting her. And considering she hadn't given him what the few men who'd shown her attention over the years had wanted, she was sure that he was thinking of it in a similar fashion.

I mean, look at you, what is there to like? She asked herself as they entered and she smiled at @fenix across the room who already had guitar in hand, ready to make this a proper party when enough people had arrived. Which would hopefully be soon, because Carys wasn't really good at hanging around waiting for people without freaking out a little about how awkwardly early she always was.

All in all, she'd probably say that she was just having a bit of a low day, but hopefully this might actually boost her a bit. Carys had been having low days ever since she could remember, and that was one thing she'd never really understood, because it happened even when she should really have been very happy or excited. Relax, relax, you'll do fine. She told herself, reaching up to fiddle with her earring slightly as she shot @chet a half grin, although a slightly worried one.

Chet was... surprised at himself. He really was. He wasn't the dating type of guy. Sure, he asked some girl or another to join him for something sometimes, but he usually didn't see a girl twice. That wasn't because he was a bad guy who "hit 'em and quit 'em" or anything like that. He just wasn't interested in keeping touch or anything beyond the breakfast he offered the morning after. And he always made sure the girl he took home were aware of this, nothing of the heartbreaking sort of thing. He didn't like that.

Carys, on the other had, was different. For some reason.

They'd met at the Gala, and she'd been stunning, which had been enough to call him over. Then she'd started talking though, and Chet had been completely enchanting to notice that he had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. She'd spoke about a hundred different things at once in such a quick pace that Chet had had trouble keeping up, and it'd become a game, and when he finally caught up with what she was saying he realised it was all rather interesting. Not 'I'll go look it up now' interesting, but rather a 'I could listen to you talk about anything and I\d soak it up' interesting. That'd been a first for him.

He hadn't been disappointed when she said no -well he had but it wasn't all that bad, he respected her wishes- and her company had been fun and pleasant without having sex anyway. In fact, he thought that might be the reason he listened to her that much. Maybe he never liked any of the girls he slept with because he'd slept with them before getting to know them? No, he doubted that. None had caught his attention like Carys had.

And it was extremely alarming, because this never happened. Ever. His brothers would poke fun at him and his mother and sister would start planning a wedding and- Chet didn't know what to do, but asking her out had seemed like a good idea at the time. Not that it wasn't still a good idea, he really liked her, but the implications of what he'd just done were only now starting to catch up with him. Chet was famous for more than his face and Quidditch, he was extremely well known for never having a date to anywhere, and here he was, with @carys on his arm. Stunning, interesting, amusing, sweet Carys. As alarmed as he was, he didn't really regret it.

At the worried smile she gave him, he grinned at her. "Hey, you look great, and my mates will love you. I think @val said she was coming, and I doubt @nathan or @murphy or @ringabell would miss this. Maybe  or @babe will come too, and @ladywatson and @raellyn are right party people."

Fenix sat in his seat, mindlessly strumming as the first guest walked into the house. It was the girl that he had had the conversation with at the pub in Hogsmead. Nodding to @tabby Fenix smiled. He had sense a kindred spirit in her in a way, and he was more than happy to have her come join the party. Next in was a new schoolmate @mandy and he stopped playing, choosing to approach the mand and offer to shake his hand. ”Conrad! I am glad that you could join us!” He never judged anyone on their choices, or decisions, after all, he was never one to throw stones. Living in a glass house…. That shit was dangerous.

Nodding when @carys came in he smirked at the lovely woman. He had never spoken to her very much, other than a few introductions at parties was all that he needed to invite her. He was an opportunistic kinda guy. Though the fact that she came with a guy shot down any ideas he had about hitting on her. He wondered for a moment if Elmira would come, he doubted it as it was not really her scene…

He looked at the boke that she was with for a long moment, trying t remember where he knew the boy from and then it clicked. He was a quidditch player. Though he was rubbish at teams, and names…. It was @chet or something like that. He inclined his head none the less though.

Parties weren’t something that Lachlan had had time for a few weeks ago when he had been swamped at work. Now of course he had lots of time on his hands to go out and socialise and even better that he was able to go along with @roxanne. He hated that while he had been inundated with work he wasn’t able to take her out to parties or to eat at a nice restaurant. But now that he was done with the project at work, he could take her out and tonight it was the party that was been thrown by Fenix Octurius. He wasn’t even sure how he come to hear about the shindig but he was glad to be here.

Really following the attack at Hogwarts the other night, the mood overall was a lot more sombre and he knew that Roxy had rushed to Hogwarts that night, he was just glad that all were okay and that the students were okay, or were going to recover. Lachlan had seen the dark mark for himself, many years ago and he couldn’t imagine what the kids at Hogwarts were feeling now since they also had to contend with the incident last Halloween.

He entered the party with Roxanne by his side. She looked hot, really though there was no time he didn’t think she looked hot in anything she wore. “So sweetheart, shall we get something to drink?” he asked as he took his hand and tilted his head in the direction of the refreshments table.

There was one reason and one reason only that he was even bothering to go to this damn party, publicity. She knew Fenix was an attention whore and that he would have the who's who there. That was just how he was, and she would not be ashamed to be among them. Cracking her neck she walked through London. Her long skirt taunt against her skin as she walked up the walkway and then into the house.

Bypassing most of the people there, she made her way to the host, the man of the hour. She knew that she had put him through hell the last few months while they recorded their album together. Walking to him she pressed a small kiss to his cheek, ignoring that he was speaking to someone and smacked him on the ass as she walked away, a laugh on he face. The only person who as currently there that she knew was @carys and the man she was with @chet . The girl was a model and they played quidditch. "Carys, Chet, how lovely to see you two."

Demetria had been invited to the party and she was going, she had gotten ready and was now walking towards the house, she had apparated from her apartment and had to walk halfway to the house. She knew the man who'd sent her an invite, she didn't know him personally, they had been in school together a year apart and different houses. She walked into the house, she saw a few familiar faces but they were only familiar she knew almost no one personally.

She spotted Fenix and waved at him, giving the man a small smile. She then stood there, leaning against a wall. Demetria looked around to see if there was anyone else, other than the people whom she knew as familiar faces, she was looking for someone she actually knew, but she didn't find anyone and she wasn't sure what to do. So she ordered herself a Vodka Martini, she began taking small sips of her drink when it was handed to her.

To say Raellyn loved partying would be an understatement. Any excuse to get out and dance was perfect. It was for this very reason the witch had done herself up after practice, using glamour charms to hide the bruises. It was a thing for her, especially in the summer, when she wore shorts and skirts. Her legs always seemed to be a problem when it came to bruises.

Arriving at Fenix’s home Lynn was pleased to find several people already there, though most of her teammates seemed to have yet to arrive. “@chet, it’s always good to see you,” she stated, heading over to the one quidditch player she saw. The witch was sure more would arrive soon. After all, partying was what they did.

After socializing for a few minutes with the chaser for the Arrows, Lynn spotted Fenix and offered the man a smile and wave. He was clearly busy entertaining, though that was to be expected. He was the host and so would be busy.
