Say Something
@ezekiel | Liam's Outfit
Liam thought that there was a lot to be said for the path that he had chosen. He hadn't had to do that. He hadn't had to choose to be an obliviator. He hadn't really had to choose to do anything, and Charles hadn't either, but they did. Mum was a journalist, Dad had his falcons. They all kept busy, and he thought that was important. Liam thought that they would have likely all killed one another if they hadn't been busy with everythign else that they did everyday. It was something that they were just going to have to do. It was something that they were good at. They had all found something that they were good at. And he knew that his parents weren't the traditional sort when you thought about purebloods, but that was okay. They had married for love. They had normal jobs. They were happy, and Liam wanted that. He wanted to be happy. In the end, he thought that that was all that was going to matter. Whether or not they were happy.
He didn't know if they were going to quite get it figured out, but he was working on it. They were working on it. After the way that the other night had gone, he was glad that last night had gone better. Even if she was walking around in her pajamas when he had gotten there. He thought that things were going to be harder than they had been, but he had won her over in the end, and that was something that he could work with. He just wanted to make her happy, and make her smile. That was all that he wanted to do, and he had made her cry the other night. He had a plan though, he wanted her to know that. He wanted the plan to make it special, and not be the way that things were going. He didn't think that it was something that they were going to have to talk about forever, but it was something that he wanted to do first. There were just things that he thought needed to happen in a certain order.
And he wasn't afraid of bending, or even breaking, the rules. If he did it with the best of intentions. But he wanted those intentions known before he did something that was going to have her mother or her brother on his neck. He didn't think that he was equipped to fight off Anicka Wentzell if she was protecting her child. That was one thing that Liam had no doubts about. Death Eater mothers were scary, and he thought that that one was especially scary. His girlfriend couldn't have had a nice, quiet, suburban housewife type of mum. That would have been all too easy. Instead he had to deal with a princess that could breathe fire if he hurt her child. Liam wasn't about to cross lines without making sure that everyone knew what his long term plan was. And he had one. He had plenty of ideas about what the future would hold.
His immediate future, on the other hand, held the need to find someone in the auror department, and pass off what was left of this case. He didn't think that it was something that they were going to have to deal with. They had located the man, and the obliviators had gone in, he wouldn't remember anything that had happened. The aurors could be assured that it was taken care of, and that the muggle man involved had no recollection of the witch that had used magic to trap him in his house before she had tried to light it on fire with him inside. Luckily, someone had suspected that she had lost it a little bit, and they had gotten to her in time to save him, and most of the house, before the damage was too much to fix even with magic. Nodding to the secretary as he passed Yaxley's office, Liam scanned the pit for someone to hand this off too. Stopping next to a young man that he didn't know he tapped the folder on the edge of his desk, "Aurors or Hit Wizards?"
