Say Something
@ezekiel | Liam's Outfit
Liam thought that there was a lot to be said for the path that he had chosen. He hadn't had to do that. He hadn't had to choose to be an obliviator. He hadn't really had to choose to do anything, and Charles hadn't either, but they did. Mum was a journalist, Dad had his falcons. They all kept busy, and he thought that was important. Liam thought that they would have likely all killed one another if they hadn't been busy with everythign else that they did everyday. It was something that they were just going to have to do. It was something that they were good at. They had all found something that they were good at. And he knew that his parents weren't the traditional sort when you thought about purebloods, but that was okay. They had married for love. They had normal jobs. They were happy, and Liam wanted that. He wanted to be happy. In the end, he thought that that was all that was going to matter. Whether or not they were happy.

He didn't know if they were going to quite get it figured out, but he was working on it. They were working on it. After the way that the other night had gone, he was glad that last night had gone better. Even if she was walking around in her pajamas when he had gotten there. He thought that things were going to be harder than they had been, but he had won her over in the end, and that was something that he could work with. He just wanted to make her happy, and make her smile. That was all that he wanted to do, and he had made her cry the other night. He had a plan though, he wanted her to know that. He wanted the plan to make it special, and not be the way that things were going. He didn't think that it was something that they were going to have to talk about forever, but it was something that he wanted to do first. There were just things that he thought needed to happen in a certain order.

And he wasn't afraid of bending, or even breaking, the rules. If he did it with the best of intentions. But he wanted those intentions known before he did something that was going to have her mother or her brother on his neck. He didn't think that he was equipped to fight off Anicka Wentzell if she was protecting her child. That was one thing that Liam had no doubts about. Death Eater mothers were scary, and he thought that that one was especially scary. His girlfriend couldn't have had a nice, quiet, suburban housewife type of mum. That would have been all too easy. Instead he had to deal with a princess that could breathe fire if he hurt her child. Liam wasn't about to cross lines without making sure that everyone knew what his long term plan was. And he had one. He had plenty of ideas about what the future would hold.

His immediate future, on the other hand, held the need to find someone in the auror department, and pass off what was left of this case. He didn't think that it was something that they were going to have to deal with. They had located the man, and the obliviators had gone in, he wouldn't remember anything that had happened. The aurors could be assured that it was taken care of, and that the muggle man involved had no recollection of the witch that had used magic to trap him in his house before she had tried to light it on fire with him inside. Luckily, someone had suspected that she had lost it a little bit, and they had gotten to her in time to save him, and most of the house, before the damage was too much to fix even with magic. Nodding to the secretary as he passed Yaxley's office, Liam scanned the pit for someone to hand this off too. Stopping next to a young man that he didn't know he tapped the folder on the edge of his desk, "Aurors or Hit Wizards?"

Things had been busy for Zeke recently, he’d found himself in a very complicated relationship and he was still trying to find his feet when it came to the situation with Teuila and Bella. One girlfriend at a time he could handle or he liked to think that was the case. He thought he was doing okay when it came to being Hazel’s boyfriend but for a number of reasons they’d ended and even though it had sucked (and that was putting it mildly) he had to respect her decision and not smother her with his own selfish needs. Now though, he had two girlfriends and he was finding it tricky to balance them both equally, he didn’t want to show favouritism but he also knew that he had been spending more time with Teuila then Bella so he made a plan to spend a few days with Bella. Sometimes he wondered if he should may take a step back and look between them both and try to decide whether to date just one of them (and if so, who) but he was selfish, plus he couldn’t bear the idea of hurting one of them if he broke it off. Then there was Hazel, she still had no idea what was going on in his relationships and Zeke knew he should tell her, but he was trying to put it off until the last minute, he knew it would hurt her but as he had to remind himself, she wasn’t his girlfriend any more, but that still didn’t mean he was okay with upsetting her. It was all such a mess.

He’d just finished his morning training and he was stood at one of the desks, chatting to a fellow trainee, a coffee in his hands when he felt someone beside him, a sharp tap on the desk beside him and he glanced up curiously to see an older wizard looking at him, he recognised him from various meetings with other Aurors but he hadn’t yet spoken to him, there was a lot of ministry workers he hadn’t spoken to if he was being honest, but there weren’t that many he really felt the need to. He’d started talking to Walker a little more than the other but that was out of obligation rather than want, although he would admit he was starting to get fond of Walker, he was a little hesitant though, he was protective of Ruby and he didn’t want to see her getting hurt again even if Walker expressed that he did love her, so had Caleb and look how that ended, (he knew it was a little harsh but he wasn’t reasonable when it came to his sisters heart).

”Aurors.” Ezekiel replied to the older wizard, assuming he was asking what his position was, ”In-training.” He added on, just in case he wasn’t a high enough rank, he knew that the man wasn’t an Auror, the question he was asked would have shown otherwise but a lot of different Ministry workers did work together it was just different issues, ”What can I do for you?” He asked politely, glancing at the folder in his hand, assuming that was what the man across from him wanted. He could only assume it was a case file, he made note to ask questions if it wasn’t, he didn’t want to go in blind and he was trying his best to throw off the dangers of his job, his alliance with Muggleborns didn’t really bode will with most people in the Ministry at the moment but he was proud and settled in his beliefs, everyone was equal in his opinion, no matter what the blood status and if someone thought they were better than others, they were no good in his opinion.
