Back to the daily grind
@emily
Kit wasn't exactly thrilled to be back at school, luckily he still had his internship so he could go back and forth. He knew he'd have to plan things carefully now though, with them being into the last half of the school year, things were starting to get busy and Kit knew that he'd have to start focusing and studying. At least come June, he'd be out of the school for good and he could start living his life. Everything was starting to fall into place, he and Gen had finally fixed things and he was thrilled that they were finally married and happy. They'd discussed moving in and he hoped that during the Easter holidays they'd be able to get everything packed, moved and unpacked. His parents had offered to help whilst he was at school which was a weight off his shoulders, but he also didn't want his mum to do too much. Sure, she was still in her early stages of pregnancy but that didn't mean he wanted her to overexert herself. Luckily, he had a feeling that his dad would step in if Calli tried to do too much.

Now that things were starting to get better on the relationship front, it made things much easier to focus on at school, there were still things he needed to sort, but he was almost certain that he was past that point now and he needed to prioritise things. That was the bottom line. He needed to study and work well so that he could give Imogen a life she deserved and to make his parents proud of him. He'd just finished a walk around the castle and had decided to take actions on the studying front, so now he was sat at the Slytherin table with a book on Transfiguration open and propped up against the water jug with notes strewn across the desk in front of him.

He was reading up on a Badgering spell when there was the sound of a bench being dragged along the floor opposite him and he glanced up, smiling at the witch who had joined him, "Hey Em, good Christmas?" He asked conversationally, pushing the parchment and book to the side, a break from studying would be nice, even if it was a brief one.
