Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

9:00 am

She hated this, she hated feeling like this all the time, that she let people make her feel this way, but how could Summer be anything but wrong. If her own parents, own stepdad didn't want her, who would? She had done so much and tried so hard to make them happy, to be something to make them happy but nothing would be enough. Now she ha to please her grandparents who demanded that she be good, honest, true and chaste. Though she would never understand their demands about the last one. It wasn't like she had ever even been kissed and it wasn't like any boy ever showed her any attention. Save for Dima. Oh, Dima.

She blushed a little just thinking of him and pulled her knees closer to her chest and hid her face there. She should be studying. She should be getting ready for exams and spending her time doing school work, but here she was thinking about her best friend and how he always seemed to come to her rescue. A small part of her accepted that she did like him, but he had a girlfriend and she was not the kind of person who tried to steal someone else's boyfriend. Summer had done that to her once before, a guy had liked her and then Summer had put her claws in him and before she knew it, he was Summer's boyfriend and hated her.

She wished the bitch would fall off a parapet at times, but she was too kind to ever think that aloud, or even ever mention it or write it down. That was the kind of thing that got people hurt, that got people hurt. She knew better than that so she just dealt with the girl on her own, she dealt with the pain and the anxiety on her own. It was better than letting others think that she was broken, even if she was.

She checked her watch and saw that she had a while still before she had to be in class so she sat on the floor in front of the low table and began to work on Charms homework that she still needed to do. Maybe she could get caught up in all of her classes and not feel so bad about the lack of enthusiasm she was feeling about it all. Hearing someone walk up she gave the boy a small smile and nodded her head as she clipped her long hair up to it was out of her way.

"Hey, Hayden. "

Here Comes The Sun
little darling, I feel that ice slowly melting away.

Hayden and Summer's relationship was barely a relationship. It may not seem like it in the eyes of everyone else at Hogwarts but the two were not very close. They didn't talk about their lives with each other or share their dreams. They barely talked. Which isn't incredibly hard to believe as they are ever seen snogging or looking for a more private place to be. It was a sort of friends with benefits thing going on. Friends with benefits but without the whole friend thing.

It didn't take much for Hayden to realize he didn't want to spend time with Summer. He always went to her in between relationships. He was trying to play with why that was. For the shortest amount of time, he thought maybe they should try dating. He didn't tell her this when he started to consider this. He had decided to just hang around a little more than usual which kind of went unnoticed by Summer. It was during this time when he really saw how Summer was. Her true nature was cruel in his opinion. He hated it. He also didn't have the guts to stand up to her.

It was also then when Hayden first noticed Summer's dislike for Mona. Something he didn't understand. Having been in the same house as her for nearly six years and barely interacting with her the only word Hayden had to describe her was sweet. But then again. He didn't really know her and he could only imagine what she thought of him. That's why he decided he wanted to get to know her better. He had known her for this long and he only had one word to describe her. It didn't seem right.

"
Hello there Mona," His voice was cheery. It probably bothered any student who was still trying to wake up this morning. Hell, he thought he was annoyingly happy at this time. HIs hand supported himself on the table as he sat down on the floor on the opposite side from Mona. Normally, if he was approaching a girl he would have sat on the same side as her. However, Hayden was aware that who he hung around probably didn't give him the best of reputation in this situation. He would be careful.

Hayden watched as the Mona pulled her hair back. His eyes drifting from her blue ones. He was studying the other features of her face. Taking note of her freckles. She didn't wear makeup like other girls he knows does. Well, at least from what he can tell she didn't. Not wanting to get caught for just staring at Mona he cleared his throat and looked at the book she had on the table. "Charms," He said, "You like that class?" He was trying to strike up a conversation.

School wasn’t a bad way to spend her time, though she would rather honestly be working out or practicing some kind of routine, but the things that she needed were never here, and she had to set them up in classrooms in her spare time. She hated having to take the things down, but she could always practice beam, floor and running. Maybe she could find somewhere with something like parallel bars. She still had a year left in school, but she was probably going to age out of training. Mainly because Hogwarts took up so much of her time and she couldn’t leave for meets. Which made her look bad to always rely on the alternate. They were all probably miles ahead of her again. It was maddening honestly, but she wasn't giving up. Maybe she could teach or something somewhere when she got older, that might be a lot of fun, but she still had a long time before she had to make her choices about her life and what she does for the rest of it.

What she wanted to do was to hide from Summer for the rest of the year and never really think about anything else again. She wanted to not have to worry about what was going to be said or things that were coming her way. Her friends meant the world to her and she knew that Dima being with Zoe made things more obvious about her feelings but she tried to ignore that. She tried to not think about the things that Hayden might have been told to say to her. She just wanted to be free of the taunting, and she wanted to not feel like this ever again.

She knew that would never happen of course and she couldn’t help but feel even worse about it. She flipped the page in her book to move to the next section before shrugging softly. ”it’s okay I guess. It’s not my best subject, but I’m not horrible at it. “ She told him softly. She wanted to ask him what he wanted, but she was too nice to do so, and he was so adorable. The fact that Summer had turned him into yet another drooling fool saddened her, and made her feel like everyone was allways going to be against her.

”I figured I would get a jump on the homework from yesterday since most of my classes are today.” Putting her notebook in the book she closed it and set it aside, before leaning back against the chair behind her. ”Got anything interesting class wise today?” She really liked her first class of the day and she hoped that it would help her get through the day at least.
