So bold and fearless in the risks we take,
Laugh in the face of gravity as its laws we'd break,
On trampolines so high, we reach for the sky, but I,
Do not look up anymore and I don't know why.

For being one of the slowest days in Dima's week this Monday was actually going pretty fast. He only had two classes today, though it had felt like he had blinked and they were both over. Most days that he didn't have his internship felt like that, though those days were few and far between. The best part of days like this were that he spent his class time hopping between his two favorite classes, and afterwards was free to attack the pitch with full force. He and Sawyer had went and practiced for about an hour before both of them had decided that it was far too cold and nasty out to go on anymore.
It was freezing, raining, sleeting even. No fun to play in, let alone practice. He had went back in and decided to do something far more productive with his time than freezing his ass off-- and that was to start studying for his Charms class tomorrow. Charms was a subject he did well, but he had to practice more than a lot of other students to be able to be at the level he was at. He could remember just about any incantation-- could do just about any swish, flick, or swat without any issue-- but sometimes his wavering accent made things hard to get out. Whenever he had spent time at home or around his brothers it got a little worse, especially since they didn't seem to speak a lick of English since graduation.
Hogsmeade weekend had thrown it off a little, what with Alek coming to visit. And of course he had a LOT to blabber on to him about seeing as his dreams had pretty much came true. Dima could have rolled his eyes hard enough and enough times to had played the maracas piece in any Spanish music, had they made the noise enough to do so. He wanted to be happy for Alek that he had his moment with Emily, or whatever, but he knew it'd be more drama than it was worth. At least, he hoped, it would take the heat off of him if his older brothers found out about him and Zoe.
His plans were to meet up with Zoe in Study Hall later on in the day but he figured getting there early would make him far more effective at actually studying and not just playing footsie and passing notes. Then again, maybe not. Dima sat across from Mandy with his charms boom open, holding his head up in a bored fashion as his eyes scanned the book. Merlin, his focus just was not there today. Blue eyes moved up slowly, looking at the Gryffindor across from him, then back to his book. Were these even bloody words anymore?! Dima squinted, almost certain his book had magically changed into his Ancient Runes book, but it hadn't. He was simply in no mood to study.
Dima sighed, looking up once again this time to find the librarian who seemed to be scanning the students with a fierce tenacity that told him he ought not start a conversation out of boredom with the witch across from him. Maybe not a conversation....perhaps a note. Dima quietly shuffled around his things drawing out a piece of parchment and a quill, he jotted down something and slid it across the table to Mandy with a smirk of anticipation.
S.O.S-- Someone's cast an unforgivable on me and I'm dying of boredom. Please send help. Also what're you doing??
