Once you get involved,
Everyone will look this way-so,
You must maintain your charm,
Same time maintain your halo
You must maintain your charm,
Same time maintain your halo
This was sort of new and interesting. Dima had never snuck out before this year-- well, there were a few times. Mostly under the instruction of his brothers, but those didn't count. Those were boring and felt more like family meetings than anything fun and exciting. This year though he had snuck out more than all of those times combined and it was actually pretty exciting stuff. Part of him felt bad for it. Being a good student was kind of his thing, and he somehow felt like he was letting somebody down. Who that somebody was, he really couldn't say. Maybe himself and his God forsaken conscience.
Mostly, though, he didn't feel to bad. As long as he didn't get caught, he really wouldn't care at all. And it wasn't like he was sneaking out to do terrible things. He wasn't scurrying around to go smoke crack or something-- just get a little extra time with one of his best friends. Mona and he had been friends for ages-- though many of his friends swore she had a crush on him-- he didn't believe it. Or rather he liked to remain ignorant if she did. He didn't know how or if things would change between them if he ever knew, but part of him knew it would change a whole lot. For now it was best to remain ignorant and blissful.
It had taken some convincing but he finally got her to agree to try her hand at the new rebellious ways of Dima. He thought he would make it easy on her; the kitchens were far closer to her than to him, but that was just a sacrifice he was willing to make. It was nearly midnight, around when he had told her to meet him, and the kitchens were almost entirely silent aside from humming of cooling charms on refrigerator cabinets. The Ravenclaw boy dug through whatever cabinets he could get into with the light of his wand to guide him, managing to scrounge up the fixin's for milkshakes. He heard a quiet footsteps coming from behind him as he flicked the light from his wand. "Mona, s'that you?" He questioned in a whisper.
