I will always fall and rise again
Your venomous heroine

'Cause I am a survivor
Yeah, I am a fighter

It was hard being a twin, more so when the other hated you and blamed you for something that was well beyond your control. It was something that Winter lived with every day of her life and something that she would not change for the world. Her mother had died during Winter's birth and it had left Winter with something that she could not explain, and her sister as well. Winter liked to say that she had received all of her mother's goodness, Summer had taken her anger and her bitterness. Either way, the woman was dead, and somehow it left Winter mostly alone. Had it not been for Osteros she was not sure what she would have done. Not just when she was little, but even now.

Summer had been stirring up trouble, along with her two cronies who always seemed to be flanking her, had cornered Winter near the Great Hall, but she usually didn't let them bother her. Today was no exception, but she was just tired of it. It was hard to handle when the person who was causing the pain was literally a part of her. She tried to not think about the things that she had said, about Winter liking Erebos. She did, and she knew that she did, but her sister had no room to talk.

Winter knew that Summer liked Mona, and that it was the primary reason that she was so damned mean. She wanted to help her sister, she wanted to do something to maybe make her see that she didn't have to be a bitch to get people to be around her and want to be friends with her. She didn't have to be a mean girl. She hadn't always been that way either, so it made Winter want to know what happened. She had to think about it, really think about it and it was that that consumed her mind as she sat on the lawns with her books spread before her, trying and failing to focus on her studies.

She had not heard someone speak to her, so when she lifted her head she blinked at the boy before her, a blush coloring her pale cheeks. "Erebos! Hey...." She said before closing some of her books and notebooks so he could join her if he felt so inclined.

Your compass in hand
Your map to the stars
And no one beside you to say where you’re going
Or even how far
Thursdays. These were days of sacrifice. Days that tested his conviction. They were....the most ridiculous days. AHhhhhhhHHH. When he had selected his classes for the year he had selected them very, very, carefully. Of course he wanted to avoid Alchemy because...ew, and no. When it came to the other classes he had chosen them based on one thing, and one thing only. Which classes. Could he take. And have three day weekends. Every weekend?

That had been the only goal then but now that he was living and breathing the existence he had set for himself.... He kind of hated it. Tuesdays and Thursdays held four classes each. Ranging from nine in the morning until six P.M. and he was not about this life. For now, though, he was on the largest break of the day. The one between Charms and Herbology. By far the hardest part of the day because if he didn't play his cards right then he'd end up accidentally skipping Herbology. Again. And that would be bad.

At the start of his break he had intentions of finding Persephone to see if she remembered just what in the hell they were even supposed to be doing in Herbology today. After a decent enough search he decided to disband the party. His own party, that was. The time was drawing nearer to Herbology and he figured he could just go outside. Approach the damn greenhouse. Prepare for the last class of the day...Or...

"
Winterrrrr," he crooned with a snap of his finger guns. She had been his assigned date for the Valentine's dance but she had also become a person of interest! Erebos had thought by now he knew damn year every sixth year to walk the halls, but hanging out with her was proving that he really didn't. The Hufflepuff moved her books and he flopped down across from her in the space she had made. "How's it going, Miss Partner In Crime?" Erebos smiled as he shoved a bit of hair from his face. He wished he could cut it, but damn if it wasn't The Style.
