She couldn't sit there and say that she wanted to get married and have babies and settle down, because despite it all she didn't know what she wanted. She knew that she wanted to have a life, and be able to look back on things an not have any regrets, but she also knew that it wasn't that easy. It wasn't going to be easy for her to find a man. Ari had never had a real relationship she had never fallen in love and as time continued to pass she was starting to think that she never would either. What was she supposed to do? How was she supposed to function like this for the rest of her life? She had her family, she had some friends, but she was very much tired of the only thing in her life that she had was work.
It was a dream that she had, of a future that she was sure was never going to happen, but she was not going o give up hoe. Not yet anyway, she was single but that could all change one day. She could meet some charming stranger and find herself swept off her feet. She could, she supposed, ask her uncle to find someone that the family 'approved' of and then just get married, but after all that she had been through, she felt like she deserved better.
Ari was young, she was beautiful and she was smart. She was great at her job and she had many things that others could say that they wished that they had but that did not change the way that she saw herself. It did not change the way that people saw her. She was scarred, she was broken, and though she had taken strides to get better, there would always be a part of her that could never be fixed, unlike the broom in her hand.
She wished that Walker could have made himself time to go and run this errand himself, but he was at practice and then he had to pick up his kids. It was fine, and it was okay that he had things to do with his family, but she wasn't his errand girl. So with the money that he had give her, she was going to get the most expensive broom she could. Then what was he going to do? Nothing. She was going to pull some strings and get him a new broom but first she made a stop by a place that she had been meaning to stop by. She had heard that they wanted to sponsor a player and she fgured that this was a perfect time, and making Walker wait a little longer was always fun. He was a good guy, but giving him the run around was always fun.
She hummed to herself as she opened the door to the front of the place and after talking with the man who had contacted her, she couldn't help but laugh as she walked towards the door, and bumped into someone, apologizing with a small smile. "I'm sorry about that."
