Perfect by nature
Never was and never will be
Have you no shame don't you see me
You know you've got everybody fooled
Have you no shame don't you see me
You know you've got everybody fooled
Date: June 5th 8:15PM
Location: Carl's Clubhouse
Each week Romilda got to pick one night where she did what she wanted. She could go out to dinner or go to a movie or have a few drinks. She was free to do whatever it was that she wanted and she would not be bothered by anything else really. Romilda had made up her mind that she was going to be a mother to this child, she was going to take care of her baby girl because that is what Brian would have wanted. He would have wanted her to be the best mother that she could be, to be someone that her kid could be proud of. It was a lot that she was trying to do and even more that she was going to have to change, but she was trying. For her daughter. For herself. She wanted this. She had to see that she could do this.
Ame was amazing and perfect and so smart. Romilda saw that there was something in her daughter was pure and good and bright. She wasn’t going to ruin that with the ways that she had lived for so long. Romilda refused to make her daughter feel the way that she had for so much of her life. She didn’t want that for her baby girl. Ame was with a sitter and she was at Carl’s Clubhouse. She had a club soda before her, she was trying this mostly sober thing for a while, but she didn’t quite feel like being alone right now. She had no one to talk to at home beside the sitter and being out in public made her feel better. Usually, she would go to the studio or write new songs, but she was taking a break from all that to be a real mom, a real person she didn’t know how to just be a person anymore that didn’t involve music.
It was doing her head in really, but she pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind as her order of fries came to be placed before her. Cheesy gooey fries made things better. Was she going to have to work harder at the gym to work these off? Yes. Was it worth it? YES.
