Quidditch was a dangerous sport, there was no one who would deny that. But that was something that attracted so many people to the sport. Caleb knew that was a factor that detracted people away from the sport. But Caleb was always careful. He was the keeper for United and that meant he didn’t fly around as much as other players and he did have extra protection gear but even he had walked away with bruises from the occasional game. But none of them had compared to what Jax had been dealt with during Sunday’s game. There was no easy of saying it but it had been an ugly hit that he had taken.

He knew the moment he had seen from where he had been flying around the left hoop on their end of the field it had been a nasty hit. Bludgers were a big factor in any game and there were there to detract the seekers and chasers from catching the snitch or scoring with the quaffle. They had certainly managed to stop his team captain. Jax was strong, Caleb knew that but he had been worried about the older man when he saw him begin the fall. The blonde would be having a word with the beaters. He was not their captain but he wanted to know what went wrong.

He had seen them practice all kinds of moves to intercept bludgers and something had gone wrong on Sunday. To add to it all, PU had lost the match. It made Caleb mad and he had been to the gym to work off his anger as it was the best place for him to do so.

With the muggleborns finally being able to be free Caleb had wasted no time in getting back onto the starting squad for his former team. He knew where he wanted to go as soon as he was free from that hell. Had he had a certain someone in his life, he would have gone to see her but he didn’t have her that was his own fault.

Caleb knew there was no one to blame but himself when it came to Ruby. He not been there and had only thought of himself when she needed it. While he was happy that she was happy, he wished it was him instead. It was far too late to fix that now. Walker was the man for her. Caleb would forever be the godfather.

He was planning on seeing her later today if he was able to bring himself to do that. At least if he brought Archer along, he could play with Pulsar. But he would see how his visit to Dubhe Merak went.

At least he still had his magic and was able to apparate wherever he pleased. While it made it easier for him to head to Southampton to see his dad, it also made trips like this much easier too. He didn’t like hospitals but he could push himself to tolerate them when he needed to. But as long as he didn’t let his fear show he would be fine. This was not going to be like any muggle hospital and he knew that Jax would recover from this.

Caleb arrived at the hospital and headed to the information desk to ask where he could find his teammate. He smiled at the witch and headed to where he had been directed. The blonde wizard knocked on Jax’s door before seeing himself inside. He glanced out the window. ”Some view they gave you mate…..it’s a wall” he chuckled as he headed over to the bed and looked over the dark-haired man that lay there before taking a seat in a chair next to the bed. It was one that was seen in most hospitals, muggle or magical.
