Appearance and Personality
General Appearance: Max Stands at 6’2” he has a muscular build which comes from years of playing Muggle sports when he was at Hogwarts but later in life comes from running to keep fit. He has a half sleeve tattoo on his right arm which comprises of many different tattoos incuding vine leaves, skulls, a full moon (ironically) and roman numerals. He also has the greek letter Epsilon tattooed on his left shoulder blade. He has blue eyes and short dark brown hair. Max sports a goatee most of the time or has some stubble. He has some scars across his torso, the ones on his arm he hides with concealment charms.

Weaknesses: Critical, judges people too easily as a result doesn’t trust people so easily. Rotten temper when ticked off. His family, in particular his sisters. Single Malt Scotch.

Character History:

Max was born as the youngest and only son to his parents. The family lived in North London. His father being a pureblood wizard grew up and left his family upon meeting Max’s mother. They lived in a middle class suburb of the English Capital. Max was five when his first bout of accidental magic happened. His father taught him ways to control that since they lived in a wholly muggle neighbourhood, much like he had done with Max’s older sisters. Max developed a keen interest in mugge sports before he started at Hogwarts with playing for the local children’s teams in Soccer and Rugby.

When he started at Hogwarts he was sorted in Ravenclaw just like his father had been, his older sisters had all been in Hufflepuff. He soon developed his skills in potions and that soon followed by Charms and DADA. They were his best subjects when it came to his OWLs. Max started dating Christina in his final year, she was in year at school but in a different house.

A year after they graduated, Max and Christina discovered they were unexpectedly expecting a child. They certainly hadn’t planned to start a family so young. Still, the pregnancy progressed with little complications. When it came time for Christina to deliver the baby however, there were complications, and team at St Mungo’s tried their best but Max lost both his girlfriend and his son that day. He still named his son Henry after his father.
He was still heartbroken and so spent his time moving between jobs till finally he started working at the tattoo parlour. The tattoo on his shoulder blade was his first one. A month after his 21st birthday Max and his sisters were in the Forest hiking when they came across a werewolf. Max being the male stepped in front and tried to protect his sisters and while he was able to stop the creature from attacking them he was bitten in the process. His oldest sister was a healer at St Mungo’s and so tried to work on him as fast as she could in some vain attempt to heal him but it wasn’t fast enough and that day the girls saw their brother turned into in a werewolf. To this day only they know about this side of him, their parents are none the wiser and he would prefer it that way.

Max had a difficult time with trying to adjust to being a werewolf including the monthly transformations. His sister Renee tried to help him as best she could but it was of no use. Wolfsbane helped a little when Max first started taking it. But still he would go missing for a few days every month and his sisters would know that it was the full moon again.

To this day Max continues to work at the Tattoo parlour which he now manages. He covers his scars, those that are visible on his arms and neck with charms so as to not arouse any suspicion. He still visits family, just his sisters really, though much of their families are not privy to the knowledge he is a werewolf. He doesn’t visit parents for fear they won’t accept him or that’s a werewolf particularly his mother who is a muggle.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? Max feels that it is right that they should pay for their crimes, after all what happened to him was not in his control but they were fully aware of what they were doing by joining the group and following Voldemort. That is as much attention he pays to that, he has more important things to worry about such as trying to not get caught and keeping his parents in the dark about his affliction

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? His father is a pureblood but he had cut ties with parents long before any trouble arose with Voldemort and so when he fell the family weren’t that affected because they had very little connection with the magical world since they lived in Muggle London and never ventured into magical communities unless absolutely necessary. The only connections they had were that their children attended Hogwarts.

Family History:
Henry was born as the only son to Francis and Gretel Dwyer a pureblood family from Northern England. His family had a long affiliation with the dark arts but unlike the majority of pureblood families his had all been proud alumni of Ravenclaw something which Henry followed in the footsteps of when he started at Hogwarts. Henry loved plants and nature and the muggle way of doing things. This didn’t sit too well with his family while he was at school. His father would often blame the introductions of Muggleborns at the school for the influence they had on his son. Henry didn’t pay too much attention to this. When he met Vera at a Muggle Library and they started dating and their relationship became serious he cut ties with his family.

Vera was the only daughter of a family who lived on the outskirts of London, her father owned his own greengrocer and her mother worked for many charities. She had no idea of the existence of magic until she even met Henry and he opened that world to her. At first she was a bit apprehensive of dating a wizard but Henry promised to use magic only when necessary as well as showing her that magic was not to feared.

The two of them met on the off chance they happened to be in the same London Library one day and their friendship grew into romance and eventually they married and went onto raise their family in North London where they still live today.
