Appearance and Personality
General Appearance: Affy is a tall and slender young woman with a slight athletic build. She is pretty with high cheekbones, cinnamon brown eyes and arched eyebrows, her skin is almost flawless save for a small tattoo of a sparrow on her left shoulder blade.

Skills: great with children, good cook, neat freak, odd ball
Weaknesses: is more than a little odd, Chris Gabrielli, Chocolate lava cake, kittens

Negative Personality Traits: more than a little weird at times, often gets lost, gets lost too easiy in a book, and believes almost everything she reads in the Quibbler

Character History:

Affy was born a miracle baby to Nathaniel and Laura Layton. She was a bouncing baby with a head full of lovely blonde hair and a brilliant smile. From the very moment that she was born she had her father wrapped around her finger and even slept in a bed that looked like a carriage until she was in her fifth year. As she grew older she became more and more odd, often causing her parents to wonder what the hell she was thinking. They would find her hanging from her bed upside and mentioning things like Nargles and such things.

She had her first magical experience when she was five years old. She wanted sweets and her mother told her no, she couldn't ask her father as he was away at work, so she began to scream violently. As she did the jar levitated towards the wall and smashed causing both her brother and her mother to be cut by the broken glass. Sorted into Hufflepuff the girl had a hard time with getting friends at first, but then became quick friends with Antonio and Cristiano Gabrielli. The former more than the latter in closeness, but Chris was a great deal cuter to Affy. In her fourth year she kissed Tony and things got a little weird. The decided that it would be better to be friends, but a month later she began to date Chris. The pair dated through out the rest of the time that they were in Hogwarts, and after they finished school he proposed to Affy.

The engagment was a long one, lasting well over three years, and as he went to work in the ministry she started her own business. In october of her twenty first year Affy found herself with child. Despite being told by healers to take it easy she raced home from work knowing that he would be home. The only problem was, Chris wasn't alone. He was with another woman.

Ashamed of what their son had done, their parents disowned the boy and took Affy in as their daughter in law, regardless of the fact that Chris and she had never married.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? She finds it a terrible terrible thing that these people be punished for the decisions that they made, nearly twice over; and even worse that their families (who often had no idea what was going on) were punished as well.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? With both of her parents being muggle born, Affy was affected largely. Neither of her parents felt safe, and had hidden their families away from England to protect them

Family History:
Nathanie and Laura went to Hogwarts together, though they were not in the same house. They were friends of the same people, went to the same parties, and even were in the same clubs. This being said, they never even saw the other in that fashion. Laura went off to Egypt to look for rare magical animals and Nathaniel went to Russia to study Herbology. Their meeting was entirely by chance in Moscow, but it changed everything. Lunch lead to drinks which lead to dancing and then to another date once they both got back to London. A few months passed and then Nathaniel proposed. They were married in a small hand fasting ceremony attended by their parents and a few friends in the middle of a meadow.

Their lives together began simple enough, they both worked their jobs, they bought a home, but something was missing so they began trying to have a child. After two years of trying they were unable to have one, and the healers said Laura would never be able to have children. So the couple adopted James Matthew, whom they called Jamie. Things were great and they were all happy, and just after Jamie turned five, little Aphrodite came into the world, much to the suprise of Laura; whom had not even know she was pregnant.

They watched their children grow and they sighed and cooed as they hit their milestones. However when Affy became pregnant and was hurt by Chris both parents were livid. She was too young, they couldn't beieve that she had done this to herself. She had ruined her life. So they put her from their lives.
