Even though Alayla was still trying to get used to being in an actual relationship, not just a physical one, she was finding that she did actually like the companionship from being in a steady relationship and even though she'd been content with Markus she was really happy with Logan, the way he treated her made her feel like she was royalty. He'd helped her deal with the situation with her parents and even though she had initially been angry with him, he'd helped her find out she had a brother, someone who also loved her in a way that she'd sorely lacked for years. Of course, Guy doted on Alayla but since cutting off all ties with Aiyana, Guy had pretty much been forbidden from even contacting Alayla which hurt the blonde a lot, but she tried not to show it.

Today though, she didn't want to let her thoughts wander negatively, it was Logan's birthday and whilst she was going to his party tonight, she wanted to do something, with just the pair of them which was why she was outside his flat waiting to be let in, she'd decided to take him to Chutne Jidlo for his dinner, her treat. And whilst it wasn't as extravagant as their first date when he took her to Germany, it was just something small to give him a chance to sit down and relax before he threw himself into continuing to prepare for his party, Alayla had already made plans with Gen to go over to her best friends flat after lunch so they could just relax and start getting ready for tonight.

Alayla had dressed down for today, she was still showing off her body in a way, but that was a habit she was finding hard to kick. She was starting to get used to wearing jeans more, even though they weren't her favourite item of clothing, not for a long shot. But with it becoming colder she decided to start dressing more appropriately for the seasons, she knew that she could just cast a warming spell over her but part of why she wore dresses even in winter was when she was looking for attention just like her mother had told her to do. Now she had Logan, she didn't want to get as much attention as she used to receive, she knew if her mother saw her there'd be a look of distaste on her features, but Alayla didn't care. She was happy, she didn't need to be constantly pandered to because she finally had someone who cared for her as a person, not just for sex or to say they were with a Veela. Logan ignored all of that.

The blonde smiled a little to herself as she thought of her wizard before she reached up and knocked on the door a few times with her elbow, he knew she was coming and she often just walked in, but today she wanted to be polite, not to mention her hands were kind of full. She'd spent days looking for the perfect gift for Logan, she'd thought about getting him more things for when he played games but she knew that he had many more loves than that, which is why she had a brand new broom care kit in her arms, it hadn't been cheap but the price meant nothing, it was filled with things Alayla knew would be put to good use. She'd also bought him a few items related to baking, a recipe book filled with fancy looking cakes that she'd hoped he'd like. Being new to relationships and gifting birthday presents, Alayla hoped he liked what she'd got him and if all else failed. She knew he'd like what she intended to wear under her dress at his party tonight.

Turning 21 was a milestone birthday in the muggle world more than it was the magical world. However when it came to Logan his life was ingrained in the former that he could not help but choose to make a big celebration of it. While later tonight he was having his party for now he was going to a have a nice meal with Alayla and the two of them had had ‘the talk’ and had decided to make the two of them official and he couldn’t be happier. He knew that she had had a hard time lately when it came to her family. She had all but been shunned from her family and had discovered she had had a half brother her whole life. Logan wondered if Alayla’s father knew about Will but that was the least of his concerns now and it was none of his business now. He was not part of the family and was just dating the daughter.

Being contacted by Alayla at the start of summer when she had finally had been allowed out of Hogwarts after the lockdown had been a good surprise. Sure she may have come an awkward time and had found another girl’s underwear on his floor but that was all behind them now. Many times now it had been her underwear on his floor. Of course they had just discussed the two of them moving in together so it was really all going well for them as a couple. Logan hoped that nothing came at them and threw a spanner in the works. He thought the two of them just needed happiness. Logan of course would work on getting Alayla to spend more time with her brother. He knew it would be hard for her after thinking she was an only child for 17 years to find out she wasn’t the only child her mother had given birth to. But he would be there as the supportive boyfriend and friend. He knew very well the importance of family and he would try to be as encouraging as much as he could.

He didn’t want much of a fuss for his birthday. Honestly he got enough attention every other day of the year and with the falcons heading to the final in a few days the amount of attention had increased tenfold. He was having a party sure but that more about some people getting together at Carl’s and he didn’t want to attention to be solely on him if you were to believe that. When Alayla had mentioned that she wanted to take him out he had been surprised, honestly he would have been happy if they ate pizza and had a day in bed but he was not complaining. If the two of them walked in together and got attention father would be fine because he knew that the other diners would soon return to their meals or to their company. While his girlfriend as a model he knew that she would only appreciated him gawking at her.

The wizard had been ready for a while now and had just been reading over an old copy of a Quidditch magazine while he waited for her to arrive. He would have been happy to meet her at the restaurant but she had mentioned she wanted to come over first. She hadn’t fully moved in yet. A majority of her things just happened to be at his flat. Hearing the odd sounding knock he rushed for open the door and smiled brightly at her as he took a few things from her. ”Hello love! Don't you look gorgeous..” he kissed her cheek and wrapped one of his arms around her waist.
