@alayla

The blonde witch was trying her best to manager as best she could. She just had a lot on her plate. Sure Giselle had her twin brother here, the two of them always supported each other but Rafferty was not Alistair. She wanted her lover here but she knew it was important that he go be with his mother. Somehow she was just going to have to make through. She only hoped that Al would be back before their baby was born. She was now 21 weeks and she had not found how what they were having yet as she wanted it be a surprise. Giselle didn’t like surprise but she was prepared to wait to find out if she was going to have a son or a daughter. At least that is what she had told her healer at her last appointment. She only wished her baby’s father had been there.

There was some days that Giselle’s thoughts got the better of her and she thought that it was uncanny coincidence that Al had headed over to America at the same time that she had told him that was expecting. She like to to think it was just coincidence bu there was a niggling part of her that made it seem like that he was avoiding her but she thought it was just the hormones getting the better of her. At least Al did not have to put up with her mood swings. Gisele didn’t want her twin to have to put up with it either and so she chose to stay at the flat she had with Al at the Roadhouse. Maybe it was bittersweet. While she had a lot more space it also made her miss Al a lot more. She knew she just had to be patient for him to return hom.

Giselle now had a lot more work to get on with. She just had to keep going at her own pace. She had been told that by everyone who knew she was pregnant. Maybe it was wrong for her to taken on running the Roadhouse while being pregnant but she wanted to do it because it assured her that nothing would happen to the place while Al was away. Plus if she was living there, she may as well as be the person to run it. In addition to having the pub she was also still a designer, that was something required more mental effort than physical effort. Al knew that she would never give up that kind of work, nor would he want her to. She enjoyed it far too much and she was great at it.

Since she had such a passion for it that she did enjoy having a apprentice under her wings. Alayla was part Veela like her and she liked to think that the two of them did get along well. Alaya would know that she was free to come to Gisele with any problem she may have. Gisele wanted to be welcoming as she knew how hard it was to start in the fashion industry. Looking over from her desk she smiled at the younger witch. ”Did you have a good weekend?” she asked as she sipped her water.
