Appearance and Personality
General Appearance: On the shorter side, Izzy is a proud woman with typically squared shoulders, shoulder length dark brown hair and brilliant blue eyes. She unlike her mother prefers to dress casually for day to day business, mainly because of when goes to digs it is better to not ruin the good clothes. Intelligence usually shows in her eyes a and she tries her best to not look like the mess that she is.
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Skills: being a fireball, getting her hands dirty, staring danger in the face, anything that requires research.
Weaknesses: Men (specifcally pretty men), the idea of being with anyone less than perfect, chocolate, her mother, her father.

Negative Personality Traits: Blunt, Opinionated, Judgemental, Stubborn
Hobbies and Interests: Cheering on her favorite team (seeing as her mother owns it) reading, getting her hands dirty, painting, gardening
Character History:

The only child of Isolde Macmillan Cavanaugh she was spoiled beyond imagination by not only her mother, but her grandparents. She was the daughter of a single teenage mother, but they did not ever let her feel like she was anything less than loved unending. As she grew up so did her mother, and Izzy was never anything other than proud of her mother. She loved her and watched everything that she did with glee. Izzy hated that her mother was slo alone, and though she was young she knew that her mother needed someone, so she begged her to find someone, and she did.

Atticus Cavanaugh became the only father that the girl ever had besides her mother and she even took his name because of it. She was happier than she could have imagined and she hated to see that they split up, but neither of them was happy and she knew that it would be wrong of her to ask her mother to stay with him for her. She could never do that to her mother. A few years later she started school and was sorted in to the ancient and noble house of Gryffindor. Even when she felt like she did not belong there she was surrounded by friends and people like Alessia Selwyn that she had become so very close to. As she got older she became more and more curious about the man that was her father so she asked question after question of her mother, wanting to know more, and she soaked up the stories that she was told.

Tales of Archaeology, Astronomy and Alchemy made her want to learn more, to be more like him. If nothing else so that she would have that one small connection to him. So that she would have that one thing that was his, so she could say that at the end of the day that was who she came from, those were her people. Finishing Hogwarts she enrolled in Lufkin to study those three subjects, and graduated happily. She spent two years in Egypt, doing digs, then China, and Japan. She loved to learn and get her hands dirty. Seeing everything that she could. Studying people and cultures as she did.

Returning home she continued her work she eventually became a curator at Museum of Memories, and loved the things that they had, and began working as an antiques dealer. She often thought about opening her own auction house, but it was more work than she wanted to deal with, but perhaps if she ever married. She dates around a lot, looking for her knight in shining armour. She likes to say that she has to kiss a lot of frogs to find her prince.

Plots and Politics
What is your character’s stance on the recent takeover of the Ministry by Death Eaters? Much like her mother, Izzy is strongly against blood purity, and most things that the Death Eaters represent. She does not understand why people cling to the ideas of such a faded world, even with the Death Eaters. History has shown that these things never end well.

Where did your character stand in the treatment of Death Eaters and their families under the late Minister Durant's rule? she finds it deplorable that any one (regardless of their political alignment would be treat in such a fashion. They were/are human beings and they should have pent their time in prison, not in a stupid work camp doing nothing more than dying.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? Izzy's uncle fought during the battle of Hogwarts, though her mother was not there, as she was elder. He neearly lost his life and the affects that it had on her family were actually rather visible.

Family History:
Lucian Kirkpatrick and Isolde Macmillan went to school together, he was a year before her in his internship and they clicked instantly. She went out with him to a pub one night (along with a group of friends from work) and it was on that night that it all started. Isolde fell pretty hard for him, even for the young age that she was at that time. One night of bliss and then a few weeks of a relationship before everything changed. Lucian returned from America married. It changed everything. That was where things ended. Isolde soon found out that she was pregnant while Lucian continued to live his life, never knowing about the daughter that Isolde bore him.

Afterwards Isolde raised Izzy alone for years, until she met Atticus Cavanaugh, and after dating for a few years they married. It made Izzy happy and he adopted her. However, it too didn't last, and he was gone before too long. Isolde remained close to her daughter however, and remained overprotective.
