general appearance
Jaxon has warm umber eyes and shaggy mahogany hair. His signature smirk shows off his pronounced dimples, but when he actually smiles it changes his entire appearance reaching his eyes.

He is quite tall, measuring 6’6”. Falling solidly in the skinny category with less than 5% body fat, he weighs in around 180 lbs and is quite lanky—his arm span is a few inches longer than his height.

skills
What he lacked as a student back at Hogwarts, he made up for as an athlete. The wizard is truly an amazing Quiditich player--Jax has always been a natural on a broom. He is very charming and has a way with words. He is extremely loyal. He is natural leader with a compassionate heart. He loves his pack, his team, his family, and his son with all of him.
weaknesses
Jaxon is a bit of a damaged soul. He fears losing loved ones and lacked a strong male role model after the death of his father. Due to those traits and his unwavering loyalty, certain people may try to use that to take advantage of him. He was always a mediocre student—had the potential to be better than he was, but lacked the ambition. He particularly struggled with Transfiguration and Divination. Those days are long gone now though as he focuses on his profession. He is still a touch lazy. Especially about anything except Quidditch. Plus he has those werewolf mood swings.
positive traits
-Taurus -Charming -Charismatic -Extroverted -Loyal -Kind -Honest

Hufflepuff through and through--If he is your friend, he is your friend til the end. He would never betray or lie to someone he cares about. That may mean saying something that hurts you, but he is a straightforward guy.

Charm/Charisma--he's got plenty. The man could sell condoms to a nun or ice to an eskimo. He's quite the flirt, as well, which gets him in trouble every now and again. He isn't much to worry about whether or not the pretty thing he is giving his attention to has a husband off somewhere.

Driven about what he cares about--he was a mediocre student, but he's one hell of an athlete. He works hard--eats right--gets up with the sun every morning and abides by all the team rules. He loves Quidditch--and would never give it up.

True Southern gentleman--Despite living in England for the vast majority of his life, with certain speech there is still a trace of the Southern drawl. He was raised as a country boy and loves being outdoors. He is athletic, persuasive, and quite charming. Jaxon loves being the center of attention. In life, he is focused on three things: girls, food, and sports. Not necessarily in that order. Football was his first love, but quidditch is his true love.

negative traits
-Taurus -Vain -Anger issues since being bitten -Lazy -Damaged -Difficulty dealing with emotions

Vain--vain--vain, Jaxon is so freaking vain (he definitely thinks this song is about him). It doesn't really help that he is a looker. But he has gotten his ego bruised a few times. Those that don't just fall all over themselves because of his looks are the ones he usually wants the most. Losing his father so young jaded the man he was to become. His mother never remarried, so he lacks a strong male presence in his life. Jaxon has common sense, but lacks book smarts. He was never a very good student. Muggleborn, though with some squib blood back several generations, means he has faced certain discrimination. He doesn't take kindly to people talking about his family--especially in any negative connotation. He's a very proud man.

character history
Jaxon was born April 20th, 1990 to a muggle couple in the States—in the Tuscaloosa, Alabama to be exact. He lived there with his parents until the summer before his ninth birthday. He had two loves as a child: football and the outdoors. Jax loved being outside and spent every moment he could with his father in the mountains learning to hunt and fish. His father was so proud when he began playing little league football at age 4. One of his first displays of magical ability was at a football game—an opposing player had the football until Jaxon summoned it to himself. On the replay videos, the ball zooms straight to him—a perfect spiral.

Unfortunately, Jaxon’s childhood was not all games and exploration. Tragedy struck the Cole family. A series of tornados tore through Alabama killing several hundred, including Daniel Cole. Losing his father changed Jax considerably, he hardened and grew detached. With their home destroyed, Lacy decided it was time for her to return to her family and her true home in Suffolk.

His mother was not surprised when his Hogwarts letter arrived. Jaxon had demonstrated magical abilities for years; and while this is kept very quiet, his great-grandfather was a squib. He was sorted into Hufflepuff. His first year he began training for quidditch tryouts after watching the first match of the season. The more he knew about the sport, the more he knew he wanted to be a Seeker. After spending his second through fourth years as an alternate seeker/chaser, he started as Seeker for the Puff team. Several Quidditch Cups under his belt and a year as the captain of his house team prepared the athlete to go on and play professionally. He has excelled in his time in the league. Rookie of the year was his first award and there will surely be more to come. He has been a professional player now for seven years.

It was two summers after he graduated Hogwarts that he was turned. What started as a night out with friends just having fun, ended with him drinking alone out near a river he liked to visit 'talking to his Dad' --a habit he had picked up as a little boy when his father passed. It was a full moon. He thought nothing of it. That was the last full moon that he ignored.

Jaxon has no clue who bit him. The man has not registered his werewolf status with the Ministry. He works very hard to keep his affliction kept secret due to prejudice and poor treatment for werewolves in the current political climate. He allied himself with the were resistance giving from his coffers at Gringott's to help the less fortunate.

Even though Durant is out--and stuff isn't quite as bad for those who shift at the full moon, Jaxon still has not come out publicly as a werewolf. He really wants to do this as he believes he thinks he can help make some positive change through the use of his celebrity influence.

Quidditch, as a career, has served Jaxon well. Despite his youth and his limited time out of school, the seeker has purchased a home in Cullompton in Devon. The all wood cabin was not huge or opulent, but suits his needs well. Secretly located amongst the trees on its own private island with a lake view from every window, the cabin was his dream home. It reminds him of his grandfather’s cabin back in the states. His home is only accessible via floo or footbridge. His floo-fireplace stretchs floor to ceiling with its hearth taking up the majority of one wall in the main living space. Windows opposite it made up the entirety of the exterior wall, giving a picturesque view of the lake and woods.

The werewolf has political aspirations for the future. He wants to be a champion werewolf and creature rights.

family history
Daniel Cole was an Air Force pilot from Alabama. He met Lacy when stationed at RAF Lakenheath, a Royal Air Force military airbase that hosts United States Air Force units and personnel. He was honored to serve as a part of the Statue of Liberty Wing. Since its inception in 1952, the Liberty Wing has been one of the premiere fighter wings of the USAF in Europe. Before joining the military, Jaxon’s father attended the University of Alabama, playing football for the Crimson Tide. Jax seeks to honor his father’s memory as both an athlete and lover of flying by playing quidditch. He always wears his father’s jersey underneath his quidditch uniforms during games for good luck. The Cole family has no ties to the Wizarding World.

Lacy Cole was born Lacy Maria Black, grandaughter of Marius Black. Neither she nor her father demonstrated any magical abilities, but her grandfather had told her stories of the wizarding world when she was a little girl. As Jaxon began to cause certain things to happen, summoning the football, levitating toys, vanishing foods he did not want eat, Lacy knew her son was wizard. Before meeting Daniel Cole, Lacy had attended university studying chemistry. She was known for her analytical mind. It is like Jaxon gets his affinity for potions from his mother.

Jaxon was tired. Running drills with his team and all the other exercise he did had not prepared him for the onslaught that was chasing a two year old about. Renny was everything Jaxon would have ever thought a son of his to be. Adorable, obviously, with quite a bit of charm for his age. There was a lot of time to make up for, but the seeker was trying not to let that bother him. Affy had not known...or realized, whatever... that the boy was his. There had been no malicious intent to keep him from his son.

Earlier in the day, the were had taken his son to meet his mum...Renny's grandmother. The child had been shy at first, but Lacey had helped him get over that in no time. If she had told Jaxon once, she told him a thousand times how much the little boy looked like him at that age. She was already spoiling her grandchild with treats and toys. He was going to suggest that Ren stay with his mum one night over night if Affy was still in the hospital when time for the full moon rolled around. He wasn't ready to tell her he was a were just yet... though he knew he needed to soon. But that could wait awhile.

With how welcoming her pub was to his kind, he didn't imagine she would decide to keep Renny from him when she found out... it was just a really big secret: one the seeker had carried around for a very long time. His ex O's (Oriel and Odessa) knew-- and LB, now that she was a wolf, too... but that was it outside of those in his pack and some in Alex's. His career could be jeopardized if he came out... but he still thought about it. Even though Larissa and Alex discouraged him from taking the risk, he knew he would eventually. It was just the right thing to do for creatures rights. That was why he was planning to go into politics eventually.

Politics did not really come into play with this new sickness that was spreading through the wixen world. As he moved through the hospital-- his head encased in a bubble charm--Jaxon saw people from all walks of life. There were those who were clearly rich and likely pureblooded... and not ten feet away were muggleborn workers from the mines. Both groups differentiated be dress but united by this mysterious epidemic.

Jax was not too worried about getting sick himself, both because he was comfortable with a no magic lifestyle and the fact that he didn't really get sick. He would feel like shit around the full moon, but that wasn't the same. He did fear losing the ability to fly... that honestly scared him more than anything else. He just loved it and quidditch so much. It was hard to imagine a different life for himself.

The seeker had the record books Affy had asked for tucked under one arm as he made his way back to the room she had been assigned. Ren was at day care and he had come to check in on her and the seeker he had played against that had fallen out of the sky during their match. It hadn't been his fault, but he still felt bad about it. Hopefully, the young woman would be okay. Hopefully all these people would be....

"Afternoon, Aff," he drawled as he entered her room. There were a few other patients stuffed in there with her, but she had the bed closest to the door, so he wasn't just bellowing across a room of people. "How you feelin'?"
