The plan had gone off without a hitch and it was amazing to Terrianne that it had worked so well. She couldn't believe that her Mum hadn't figured it out. She was going to be so surprised and was so happy about it all, Terrianne knew it. Her father was bound and determined to do this right and Terrianne was going to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. She was already in her dress, and her father, brother and uncle had better be changed already. Friends and family were gathered in the back yard already, so they were just waiting on  the bride.

Operation 'distraction' had gone according to plan. Terrianne had gone out with her mother and Aunt shopping but had 'forgotten something', and been forced to come home, to change and finish things up. The cake and flowers had arrived just as she had gotten home and they had been set up easily. This had been a long time coming for the couple, they were trying to do things the right way this time and her father didn't want to lose her mother again, and after Christmas they had started this plan.

This was something she had Archie had hoped for for years, that they would be a family once again. It n=nade her happier than anything else in the world to know that her mother was getting the wedding she deserved and the happy ending she wanted.  With a few small white roses in her hair, Terrianne waited by the door for her aunt and Mother to come through.

More than a memory
More than saying I do
When Percy and Terrianne had first told her about this idea Oralee hadn't quite known what to think of it. She knew that Penny and Percy had reconciled but planning a wedding for someone with very little input from them was hard. Even when that someone was your mother, and fiancée. Penny was one of her best friends though, and so if this was what they were going to do for her, then she would do her part. That had meant flowers, and cake, and whatever else that Percy asked her to help him with. It had meant finding a dress, and shoes, and managing to do her hair in a style that was pleasant, but not telling today. She knew that it wasn't as easy as it would have been if things were different, if Penny would have known all along, then there would have been no worrying about hiding any of this from her. She thought that it was working though. Terri's bout of 'forgetfulness' had sent her back to the house, and she was charged with the task of keeping Penny distracted until she was sure that they had spent long enough that everything was going to be ready at the house when they got there.

Looking over at her friend, she was trying to judge just what she was thinking. There was no need to really think about what it was that was going on. They were dealing with the aftermath of Easter, and she didn't think that Penny was going to suspect this at all. It was a Wednesday afternoon. There was no sense in anyone thinking that they were going to be springing a wedding on her in the middle of the day, but essentially that was what they were doing. The actual wedding part wasn't for a little while, they had guests that were going to be here at some point, but Oralee thought that they would have Penny tucked away in her bedroom, making sure that she looked the part before they got that far. The only person that she was worried about stumbling upon them was Percy, and she really didn't think that he was going to come looking for them when they got home today. He hadn't gone through this much trouble to only have it ruined now. They were going to pull this off, and it was going to be perfect.

Oralee checked her watch one more time and then she turned to her friend, "We should probably head back. Who knows what Terrianne is up to at this point, she's been gone for an hour… And I need to get Audrey from my mum anyway…" She didn't, actually, Vanessa was going to bring the little girl to her already ready to go in her dress for the wedding. Pink, to match Terrianne's, and her own. They had gone the extra mile to make sure that they all at least looked the part to spoil her with. She knew that that was exactly what this was. It was Percy trying to make up for everything that he had done wrong, for everything that had come between them. And if it worked out, then she thought that that was amazing for them. They hadn't been together since the kids were little, and yet they had always managed to be great parents together. That was really what had mattered most. She thought that it said something about their devotion to their children that they had managed to work together well enough to raise two great kids. But other than that, she thought that it had gotten them back here. To being a couple again.

The way that they probably always should have been. That was the way that she thought that they were all going to turn out, after all, but what did she know? "I'll meet you at the house to drop some of this off?" Oralee had taken part of what Terrianne had bought earlier and had been carrying it on purpose. Something to give her an excuse to have to go to the house with her. Before Penny could answer her again Oralee apparated to the front steps of the house and waited for her friend. Running her hand over her left arm Oralee smiled brightly and wiggled the fingers that she couldn't feel. Willing them to cooperate with her for the rest of the night. She didn't need to lose control of her arm right now. And she thought that she was okay. She wasn't going to stress about it until something happened. Looking over at the sound of apparation she smiled, "Beat you." It wasn't really a competition, but she knew that she wanted to follow Penny into the house, she wanted to witness her reaction to what was happening, as it happened…

It's A
Nice Day For A

White Wedding
George loved surprises. And he also loved weddings. Mostly because of the food, though also because of the sheer magnitude of people and the happy atmosphere. However, he had always been of the opinion that a Wedding was serious and stressful enough business while already knowing about it, let alone when it came out of nowhere. But then, he had always known Percy was a little odd. They both had, him and Fred. So really... this was the perfect kind of wedding for their older brother, albeit being Take Two. It was a little bittersweet for him as it was the second time round without his other half, and the first time round without his other, other half, but it wasn't about him. None of this was. This was about him being the best man to Best Man at his brother's wedding, to be there to help pull off the surprises and spontaneity alongside his niece and Penny's friends. He had a tiny speech (the best he could do with such little notice) prepared and ready within his pocket and his prosthetic in place so he could hear as well as everyone else without the garish sight on the side of his head.

The shop had been shut up early that day so he could be here, so both him and Ron couldn't chance being late, and it had been from the moment they had gotten the news. He'd specially pulled out his best suit, freed it of mothballs and donned it before heading over to the Burrow to be there for his family. He'd waited on @terrianne coming back from shopping and helped her out with what he needed to then sat back to wait on @ginny , knowing that Ron was kicking about nearby. The garden looked great but then it always had whenever they'd pulled together to deck it out for the big occasions, like Bill and Fleur's day, and all of their birthdays. Yet it still missed something and it was something he constantly had to forget. So, he did what any rational person did, and he went looking for someone to bother to distract himself or at least just something else to do.

The telltale cracks sounded, alerting him that @oralee and @penelope had arrived and he ducked away, back towards where @percy was stationed. Maybe he could take the time to do something with his hair or something else before everyone else arrived. Percy had mentioned that @silas and @aydrien would be here tonight so he could only imagine how many of the Order were going to be in attendance, if not them all. Suddenly the small wedding didn't seem quite so small after all. He sighed, rubbing at his jaw as he looked back at the house. Angie would be here soon with the kids too, no doubt. He smiled to himself, dropping his gaze to fix his sleeves. His best friend and his children... it had been a while since he'd seen the trio.

She'd gone to the . . .truthfully, she wasn't quite sure what it was, because in her mind, weddings ought to be planned out, even if they were a trip to the courthouse. It wasn't quite her place to judge, because she was still relatively new to the Weasley conglomerate, as Ginny's girlfriend. She'd met a few here and there, but because as large of them, hadn't managed to meet everyone.

She distantly remembered from her Hogwarts days, that there were many of them, there were even more of them, and there were even more cousins. She'd quite hoped that there wouldn't be as many here, for her own ability to tell them apart, and apparently as there got to be more extended, not everyone was quite sure who everyone was, up to and including times where some had to convince others they weren't close family members. It seemed like madness, really, and had made Cho extremely relieved her extended family was rather small.

She half-remembered some from her Hogwarts days in a distant sort of thing. She had known the bride-to-be better than the groom back then, she thought, as Penelope had been a Prefect for Ravenclaw. She'd halfway looked up to her, in a distant academic sort of way.

"@ginny ?" Her voice was quiet, set to not carry. "You have four brothers who will be attending this and are not getting married, yes? And you're absolutely sure you're an only daughter?"

Her family was always interesting, there was no other way to say it. They were interesting and she loved them because of it. Ginny had been thrilled when Percy and Penelope were talking again, and it was even better when they were actually together again. She had found out pretty quickly. They were Weasleys, after all. She knew everyone's business, and she had her niece to ask as well. She had connections, and she loved gossip. Ginny was thrilled with this whole situation, especially because she loved Penny and she loved her brother. They were all going to be a happy family again, as much as they could be. She knew that the Muggleborns were going to be looped into the school within the next few weeks, and she knew that things hadn't gotten better at all, but this was something. This was a little thing of life, a happy thing. Something that could make their days better.

Ginny was glad to be supportive of her family, and she was thrilled to be able to be there. She had been excited to bring Cho along as well. This was one of the few events that she had been able to bring her to. She hadn't dragged her along to any family dinners yet, which was... Well, it had been difficult. They had almost been going out for a year, and she had been having a hard time trying to distract her mum from that. So it was going to be Cho's first major Weasley event, and she was excited. Excited, but thrilled.

"Absolutely sure," she said, holding tightly onto Cho's hand. She led her towards where George was standing, flashing a cheeky grin at her brother. They had only just gotten there when everyone went to find a seat, and she led her girlfriend to one of the open ones. "This is exciting!"

They had done it, they had managed to keep it quiet for months and make all these plans with out Penelope didn’t know. He had proposed beneath the Eiffel Tower, he had given her a promise ring. He had given her everything that he wanted to, and he had done this the right way. He was working towards slowly making up for the mistakes that he had made before, but now things were so very different than they used to be. They were going to sped the rest of their lives being together, being happy and watching their children grow. He was just happy, and it was an amazing thing.

He hoped that she wouldn’t freak out too much, that Penelope would just let this happen. He wanted her to have the wedding she deserved, friends and family and them. He wanted her to have fun and to not have to worry or stress about anything. He just wanted her to enjoy the day. Terrianne had taken care of the wedding dress, the flowers and the dresses for herself and for Oralee. It was impressive what she had put together and especially with the budget that he had given her. He knew that she had a future in it, and he was so very proud of his little bird.

Time was getting closer and for some reason nerves were settling in., he paced, his hands in his pockets and he waited, trying to be patient but was secretly scared that he would be ruining everything yet again. He turned to look at @feorge and sighed. ”Think she’s still coming?” He was impatient and worried and excited all at the same time.

From The Ground Up
“Terri’s been gone a long time. She probably ran into some boy that she knows from god knows where,” Penny agreed, reaching up to tug one of the dresses off of the rack. She wasn’t ready to go home yet — there was still so much shopping that she wanted to do. After all, they were taking a family vacation to the Bahamas and she wanted to make sure she had everything she needed. “Are you sure we can’t stay for just a few more…” But Oralee was right. She had to pick up Audrey and Penny wanted to make sure she had more time with the kids over the Easter holiday. She carefully tucked the dress back onto the rack and picked up the rest of her bags that were on the floor.

“She bought all that?” She said, biting her lip. Percy wasn’t going to be happy when he saw the bank statement. “Or, I can grab…” But just like that Oralee was on her way back to the house.

Penny blew some of her red hair from her eyes and focused on their home. In a matter of seconds, she was standing in front of the steps leading up to the door. “You got a head start,” Penny countered, giving her friend’s arm a squeeze. She worried about Lee sometimes — she had been through a lot. But she was resilient — they all were.

Penny pulled out her wand and flicked it at the door. Alohomora.” Oddly enough, there was no sound of the door unlocking. Maybe Terri had forgotten to latch it when she came in…or Percy had left it when he left for work. Either way, they were going to have to figure out who was responsible for the door. “Terri?” Penny opened up the front door, her eyes adjusting to the lighting inside the townhouse. “Arch? Percy? There’s tons of bags, guys, Oralee shouldn’t have to carry them up to your bedrooms. She's not our maid, you know,” she said as she pushed into the doorframe, bags catching on the side of the door.

She was silently cursing when she realized that Terri was standing nearby in a pretty dress, white roses tucked into her red hair. “Oh, there you are....Did I…miss something?” Penny asked, stopping to turn around and look at Oralee before she looked back at her daughter. “Are we having muggle prom, sweetheart?” She raised one of her eyebrows before she put down some of the bags and took off her jacket to hang up in the nearby coat closet.
