Adrienne had threatened to banish her to the couch, Ottavio to publish baby pictures, and her parents to close down the shop for the day if she didn't get out and do something that wasn't visiting sick relatives. It tugged at her-- how could she not, most of her family was sick, and she stood fine and well? She and Gandolf were the only two Ollivander Álvarezes untouched by this, the shop-owner and the wandmaking professor. The public faces, for all that Gandolf went around as an Álvarez in what was . .mostly a transparent disguise but said well enough that he wasn't teaching as an Ollivander wandmaker, simply a wandmaker.

Sídhe was an island she liked to go to. Calm, quiet, away. Eerie, and there was little more that Galenia liked more than going off into nature. She'd met a fair amount of people on her hikes-- either when dragging spouses and children or on her own. She went further on her own, places that she wasn't quite ready to take her children. Sídhe in general, of course. Sídhe caves, not quite. Hills of Rhiannon was a better start to them.

Logically, she knew that she shouldn't be in the caves alone. There were far too many rumors to not take them with some caution, but she considered herself well aware enough. Most people weren't wandmakers, after all, and carried only one wand. Galenia never went without a few on her self. She braced a hand on the rock entrance, breathing in the cooler air. She wasn't quite alone, she could tell, but she didn't rather think. . .

"Séamus?" She didn't have quite the same eidetic memory as her famed great-grandfather, but she'd practiced hers since she was a child, the better to eventually be a contender to be the Ollivander.  She mostly knew him from other hikes, other run-ins in nature. "I haven't seen you in some time. Are you and your wife doing well?"

[attr="class","textbodootp"]A day out was in order. Séamus was trying to regain some sense of normalcy to his life, after everything that had happened. Eloise getting sick and losing her magic... well, that had certainly been harder on her than on him, but he had still hated seeing her go through all of that. It had been hard to convince her to even take a day or two off, but they had been naive to think the fever and chills were the worst of it. Her lack of magic had persisted, somehow, and Séamus didn't know what to do. He didn't understand why he hadn't been affected. All he wanted to do was find a way to give her magic back--she was an Auror, and a bloody good one at that. In all the years he had known her, desk duty was hardly up Auror Eloise's alley. But... there was nothing he could do. Nothing except keep doing things as if everything was normal.

Nothing was normal, though.

Eloise was at work, though, and the kids were at school, and Séamus had next to nothing else planned for the day--so a hike seemed like a good idea. Something to get him outside and in nature. Something that would hopefully help clear his head. Or help him think more clearly. He was hardly in a position to make any kind of difference in the current crisis--or was he? Honestly, Séamus thought it was all so foreign and nightmarish, he didn't even know what made sense anymore. He felt kind of ridiculous, feeling so lost in the face of an epidemic. After everything that had happened in Séamus' life, nothing should have really fazed him anymore. And yet here he was, feeling utterly helpless somehow.

He knew these caves well. Some of them had interesting fauna, things that came in handy in his line of work. Séamus had been here several times before, enough so that he knew it wouldn't be completely deserted. The weather was good for a hike, and he was fairly sure he wasn't the only one that needed a breath of fresh air in this crisis. That was part of the reason he wasn't all too surprised to see a familiar face, greeting Galena with a smile. "Hello, Galena--it has been a while," he said. Séamus had met Galenia along other hikes, and being the current owner of Ollivander's, he knew he would be seeing her in the shop in a couple of years. "We're doing as well as we could be, all things considered. El... she got sick," he explained, his smile faltering a bit. "How about you, though? How's your family doing?" he asked.
