[attr="class","cbody"]The best part of Thursdays—and Tuesdays too, was the fact that she didn’t have class until two in the afternoon. Technically, her internship hours for the day ended at noon, which meant that she had two hours in London until she had to be back at Hogwarts. That meant finding somewhere good to have lunch that wasn’t the Great Hall, and Salazar, she loved getting to go out to lunch.

Sometimes her mum came with her. Sometimes she stopped in the Ministry and tried to pull her dad or Ophion into a lunch break with her. Either way, it always ended up a lot better than her lunch hour would have been back at school. And, for a moment, she had thought that she would have to deal with lunches in the Great Hall for the rest of the term—and worse, actually.

When she had heard that Remy was throwing Caerus a birthday party, obviously she’d had no plans of missing it. With her internship, she had been sure that she could fudge her hours a little bit, come home just slightly late, and no one would ever need to be the wiser. But then shots had been involved and that plan had gone right out the window. Not only had it been a few hours more than just a couple, and there had been a lot of shots involved in the evening as well.

And, of course, there had been a lot of casual flirting with LJ, and teasing, because she knew that it frustrated him when he couldn’t do anything about it. And since it was his best friend’s birthday party, Rhea was well aware that he had likely wanted to get through the night without shagging his best friend’s sister in the club bathroom.

Of course, he hadn’t, because she liked to think that she was incredibly persuasive when she wanted to be. Part of the fun was Caerus’s absolute obliviousness to the fact that anything was happening between his younger sister and his best friend. If he ever figured it out… well, she didn’t think that was going to end all that well. But they were… relatively cautious. Sometimes, anyway.

Well, actually, they weren’t. Not really. But that was beside the point.

She had thought that she could get back to her common room without getting caught and all that had resulted in had been her aunts catching her, and her having to serve three detentions a week for the next three months. Never mind the fact that three months was April, and after Easter. She thought she should get some kind of perk since they were family, but that side of the family had always been a little odd.

Rhea knew she should just be glad that she hadn’t taken her internship away from her. She still got her Tuesday and Thursday lunches out of the castle, though she wasn’t entirely sure just where she wanted to eat yet. Luckily for her, she had time. There was absolutely no hurry and no reason for her to get back to Hogwarts before she needed to.

Instead, she’d decided to walk around a bit and maybe try a different restaurant for a change. She wasn’t paying too much attention to where she was headed, so when she came to a stop to look around, she realized that she had made it to Vexed. Her mother called it a trash mag, but somehow, that made it even more interesting. Who was interning here? She didn’t remember—but she thought it was a good chance that they weren’t nearly interesting enough to work here.

She was just about to walk away when the door to the building opened, and someone stepped out. Not wanting to look like she was just staring at the building, Rhea instead pulled her phone out of her pocket and started looking through her recent texts.
