Description:
He's gay. He's extremely, very very gay. Also very passionate, ready to fight to protect people he cares about. He's pretty phlegmatic, and he's the second favorite son (Duncan's first).
He grew up on the Faroe Islands, the third son of one of the foremost families in the entire country. His sexuality didn't really matter then, because his brothers would marry and his sisters, and he could be a happy bachelor. His older brother was supposed to marry a Danish girl, but Duncan married a muggleborn instead, and then Shaera and Jaehaerys broke their betrothals (a Danish man and a Faroese woman, respectively) to marry each other, and suddenly despite their dragons and their power. . . no one was really happy with them anymore, and they had to flee to their mother's near-forgotten country of the UK.
There were rumors though, that he and Rhaelle could be married off to Faroese and Danish mages to eventually bring them home in the next generation-- only them, however. So Rhaelle, not able bear the thought of her brother having to marry a woman offered instead to make their exile a more permanent thing: that they would marry instead.
While they don't share their family's taste for such close incest, Rhaelle was the woman he could trust best, and the only one he wouldn't be expected to be intimate with, the only one who knew he was gay. So during her winter break of Sixth year, they got married, and they've pretended to be in love ever since. While they'd forced themselves to kiss a few times, they've never been sexual and have no intentions whatsoever of doing so.
He sees men, but very discreetly. He and Rhaelle pretend to be married and in love for a reason, after all, and he doesn't want to hurt her with getting the whole thing blown up, though she's very aware of his boyfriends and tries to help out.
Additional Information:
he likes jumping on beds, he's got a sense of humor, he likes to see people smile. he's . . .not exactly purist though he is still fairly elitist. But he doesn't really want to be thought of as another Duncan, so he keeps that quiet.
