A barbegazi is a mythical creature, coming from Swiss and French mythology, both of which was very obviously prevalent in the village of Barbegazi. This creature travels in the mountains and are rarely sighted by humans -- but sometimes, when there is danger above in forms of avalanches, they give out a low whistling cry to warn people. This summit is quite the hike to get up to, and is a challenge, but once up there, it gives a beautiful view of the village and the surrounding mountains.
