CANCELLATION OF THE
LEAGUE SEASON
LEAGUE SEASON
14 September 2018
After careful consideration, the Department of Magical Games and Sports is officially announcing that the rest of the league season is cancelled. Due to the dangers caused by Epidemic X, it is our determination that ending the season early is the only way to ensure the safety of our league players and staff.
Since the regular season matches have already concluded, and we do not wish for our teams’ hard work to have no reward, we will be awarding the League Championship Cup to the team that was heading up the standings after the matches on the ninth of September. The winner of this year’s league championship will be the Falmouth Falcons, ending the season with 4,770 points.
We understand this may come as a disappoint to our avid Quidditch fans, but at this time, it is more important for us all to focus on our health and wellbeing.
