Giacomo stands at 5'5" and has curly or wavy light brown hair, he doesn't do much with it except to make sure it's sitting properly and not flying all over the place. He's got thin eyebrows that are the same shade of brown as his hair. His icy blue eyes stand out and he knows he gets attention for them, a lot of it unwanted. He assumes that eye colour is rare but he doesn't know. He's developing a muscular build thanks to all the outdoor activities he does when he's able to. Giacomo prefers to keep his dress casual and simple as he doesn't like to draw attention to himself.

Born a few days after Valentine’s day in 2003 Giacomo was welcomed into the world at a muggle hospital as Fatima thought it would be less likely that his birth could be traced that way. She went home a few days after with her newborn son and doted on him as she could. Fatima made sure that Giacomo would never go without anything but the one thing she could never give him was a father. Giacomo knew that his house was different from that of other kids because he didn’t have a father at home nor one he was in contact with. He discovered this early when he was in Pre-K.
Giacomo had a good time during primary school, at least where his school was concerned. He didn’t have that many friends but he always felt different from the other kids but he was unable to pinpoint why. Around his eight birthday he started showing signs of magic and his mother sat him down and explained that he was a wizard. This was something else he had to come to terms with but it was easier to do than not knowing his father.
When he got his letter for Hogwarts, Giacomo started to talk to his mum about trying to find his dad. He explained he just wanted the man to know he had a son but his mother never gave away any details. She had it stuck in her head that Magnus (because she did remember his name) would not want anything to do with children and so she never told him about Giacomo.
Giacomo started at the school and has made very few friends but he often keeps to himself but he had joined some clubs to keep himself occupied. When he was thirteen, he sat his mum down during the christmas holidays and told her that he liked boys. She hugged him and said she still loved him. As cliche as that reaction may seem, it was just what Giacomo needed. His mother being muggleborn was forced to register when the decree was handed down, Giacomo hates what she is being put through as a result he continues to investigate ways to free her while his OWLs approach closer.

Fatima Verdini was born as the only child of Antonio and Agneta Verdini in Florence, Italy. Her father was a greengrocer and her mother was a school teacher and they lived in a modest house in a primarily residential part of the city. Fatima had a very normal childhood, she enjoyed playing games with her friends and playing with her pet cat. Around the age of six she started noticing changes as did her parents. They took her to the doctor, their priest and finally to the hospital to try and diagnose what was wrong with her but they had no luck. She continued her schooling with thankfully very few incidents. The answer to her strange behaviour came at the age of eleven when she had received her letter of admittance to Beauxbatons. Considering they knew nothing of the school or anything about their daughter being a witch a professor from the school visited the family to explain what was going on and how her going to Beauxbatons would benefit them. With some reluctance her parents had let Fatima go to school.
There she had been sorted into Amoreux and felt like she had found her home there in that house at the school. She had found she enjoyed potions and magical creatures. She had tried to fly but was still fearful of getting onto a broom again and preferred to keep her feet on the ground.
Upon graduating from the school, Fatima had to the UK to study potion making and establish herself as a potioneer. She succeded in doing both and stayed on in the UK after graduating from Lufkin. One night at a club she had met Magnus Everlight and gone home with him. That one night had resulted in her having her son, Giacomo. She had chosen to never tell Magnus of her son because their encounter had just meant to be that one night and nothing more.....

He used to go on holiday to different places once a year, during the summer for a week or two as a child but when he reach eleven and started Hogwarts. He never left the UK during the holidays. He always had a close relationship with his mother after his father left them when he was only five years old and he tries to avoid speaking about him as much as possible. Magnus was six when he started to show signs of magic when he turned his neighbors lawn blue one night on Halloween because they wouldn't answer the door to him when he was trick or treating. To this day, his neighbors still have no idea what happened to their lawn and often say to his mother that they're certain it was some no good teenagers.
When he received his letter to Hogwarts, he was excited. He knew that his mother was magic but he was never sure what his father was and whenever he asked his mum, she just refused to respond and he eventually came to the conclusion that his father may not actually be magic at all. The question however, remains unanswered. The mother and son duo went to Diagon Alley the same day and spent hours, his mother who was excited that her son was going to Hogwarts spoilt her son and bought him a beautiful eagle owl as a gift, (she wanted him to keep in contact and with an owl he owned, he had no excuse not to).
Magnus was one of the few new students that weren't too nervous to be sorted, unlike the majority of his peers, but he wasn't completely fearless as his nerves really began to kick when he got called up to the sorting hat. He was confident it would be an easy decision for the house but he found himself in a hatstall. The hat spent a few moments debating between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw before eventually deciding he was more eagle than lion. Magnus settled right in at school at was relatively popular, he somehow managed to balance out his studies with his social life and that continued on through all seven years. In his seventh year he began dating a fellow Ravenclaw, Clarissa and he was head over heels for her. They were a strong couple and all seemed well.
After Clarissa had disappeared and he had tried all avenues to try and find her, Magnus had told himself he would only partake in short flings or in one night affairs with women. The latter had resulted in him meeting Fatima and taking her home. Nine months later she gave birth to their son, unknown to him.
