Character History:

Daisy was the youngest child born to a wizard and witch that came from halfblood families themselves, but each of Daisy's parents came from a line of wizards and witches gifted in the art of transfiguration. She has three older sisters who were all gifted in the art as well. Her father and two oldest sisters are animagi. Her mother and the youngest of her older sisters were actually metamorphmagi. The expectation was that Daisy would study hard and at least be able to come animagi.

Daisy started Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw just like the rest of her family. She thought she was for sure on track to succeed in the family line when it came to transfiguration. However, Daisy was severely wrong. In fact, she struggled with it constantly, almost failing her first year. If it wasn't for her professor tutoring on the side she would have failed the class. Her family was in shock when she didn't earn an OWL in the subject. Daisy's sisters began to tease her and make jokes of how she must be adopted or that she may really be a squib.

After graduation, she decided to leave her family in Godric's Hollow and pursue the one thing she loved: arithmancy. She became an arithmancer, working her way to a point where she would eventually be able to teach the subject. Her sisters had since matured and tried to reach out to Daisy urging her to return closer to home.

Now that she is a professor, Daisy has returned to Godric's Hollow and is trying to patch things up with her family. Thing are still quite rocky and awkward, particularly with Rose, the youngest of her oldest sisters, even though Rose tries immensely. Daisy still can't help but see her as the most successful daughter while she was the most disappointing one.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? Daisy knows what it is like to be the underdog and fee isolated, and she would wish that on no one. Therefore, she always stands up for the little guy. Sure, she understands the death eaters did horrible things, but she does not believe in their treatment. However, she is not completely vocal about this and doesn't do grandiose protests or anything. She is more of one to do small gestures, like give a death eater some extra food, money, or clothing in private.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? Daisy feared Voldemort more than the rest of her family. They always joked about how they could use their skills in transfiguration to hide in secret, but it scared Daisy as she and her sisters were not so skilled in the art as they were young when he reigned. However, their parents always tried to instill them with courage by reminding them their best weapon is wisdom. When Voldemort's reign ended, the girls were relieved, but really set to work trying to enhance their transfiguration skills as they wanted to be prepared since this was sort of their wake up call.

Family History:

Lucas and Leah met at Hogwarts. The two were in the same year and they were both sorted into Ravenclaw. They also both were skilled in transfiguration and had family members skilled in it as well. Lucas' great-grandfather was a metamorphmagi and Lucas himself was able to transform into a dog in just his fifth year, which caused him to earn high marks on his OWL. In Leah's family, a woman in every generation was a metamorphmagi, and she was the one in her generation. With how much they had in common, the two started dated at the end of their fifth year.

The two graduated Hogwarts and married shortly after. They moved to Godric's Hollow. Lucas served as a transfiguration professor for a brief stint, but then quit to work as an obliviator. Leah works as an auror in the ministry of magic.
