Harvey Arington entered the world two minutes after his twin brother on June 3rd, 1999. They were very much doted on by their mother and Harvey was very close to their mother, it was where he learned to be caring from as he is told by his father. Still, he was close to her and when he was three and he knew that his mother was going to the hospital to have his sisters, that he began to worry, He had hoped that she would return back from there with his two baby sisters but she never did. It upset him greatly and it made him draw back and turn into himself. This only hindered his adjustment to primary school but soon he fell in love with music and begged his father to let him have piano lessons.



From there, he would have gone on to love jazz music and go on to learn how to play the trumpet. It was the limit to the instruments he learned to play. When he and Osteros started at Hogwarts, it was hardly surprising that they sorted into different houses. Both boys were very different but they still get along to a certain extent. While his twin was off doing his own thing, Harvey was making his own friends and his own mark at Hogwarts. It wasn’t easy but he started to get to know his fell lions as well as make friends in the other houses.



In his fifth year came a big surprise for Harvey when he was made a Prefect of his house. It was the same year he earned a place as Beater for the Gryffindor team. But even still, while he was out in Hogsmeade one day, he was approached by someone who was looking to get some stuff into their cousin who hadn’t been allowed to attend Hogsmeade due to serving detention. Harvey knew the guy it had to go and said he would take it to him. What he didn’t know, it was some illegal potion ingredients. He was glad he didn’t get caught. One summer between his sixth and seventh years, he ran into the same bloke after he had been on a date with Rosa. They got to talking and Harvey knowing he needed money, would take on some other jobs. This was how he got into stealing.



Towards the end of his seventh year, the muggleborn registration came into force and Rosa had to register. She did register but he didn’t end their relationship. He couldn’t, he loved Rosa. But they didn’t know at the time that Rosa was already pregnant. Rosa had the baby on April 5th, 2018. Two weeks later, she and Harvey discussed her going on the run Naturally he was very hesitant at first given that he wanted her to stay for Silas’s sake as well as so he could protect her but she saw it was better for her to leave. A month after Silas was born, Rosa went on the run.



Harvey keeps in contact with her sporadically but with the recent flu outbreak, he knows that she is in the country given that the borders were closed. He now continues to care for his son and work at Which Broomstick while taking on various robbery jobs to earn extra cash.

(Taken from Joyce and Mya) Welkin and Edith met in a small pub just outside of London. She was on holiday from school and he was taking a day off from work, after having his ears boxed by his boss for acting a fool. It was simple and oh, so honestly cheesy romantic comedy type of meeting. She had had too many drinks and he was getting up to leave and her drink ended up in his lap. He walked her home, mainly because she wasn't from there and he didn't want to see her being taken advantage of in that state. It sort of sparked a horrible love affair and before they knew it she had moved into his flat. They dated, and after about two years a bit of a funk settled in. She wanted to move forward and to get married, have a family. He said no, so she left. They lived apart for six months before he showed up at her door, flowers in hand and apologized. It had taken him far too much alcohol, far too much time, for him to see that he loved her and well, he did. Something he was not good at telling anyone. They married a year later in a small ceremony and around a year later, she found out she was pregnant. Twin boys came and then around three years later, twin girls. It was hard for her to deliver the girls. Hard for her to make it through and though she fought hard after Winter was delivered she closed her eyes and never regained consciousness. Consumed by grief, Welkin moved the family from Brighton where they had been living to the north closer to his family home to have help, and tried his best to raise four children under the age of five alone.
