general appearance
Handsome with a bright smile, Graham Tripe takes after his father's side of his family, though the blonde hair is characteristic of the Finnish Heikkinens. His hair is rarely messy, but always seems to portray a look of casual indifference. When asked how he manages to style it, Graham simply shrugs and will inform you: "It's all in the fingers." He stands at six foot one and can most often be found wearing a pair of scrubs, or a perfectly tailored Italian suit. Graham takes great care in his appearance and he's rarely seen not dressed to the nines. Sharp features can make him look sincere, but as soon as he cracks a smile, he's liable to drag any woman within a ten-foot radius closer to him. When he's at work, Graham can usually be seen fiddling with something, whether it's a pen or the edge of a file - this could be indicative of a nervous tick, though he'll deny that he feels any nerves at work.

skills
Graham's good at medicinal magic. He's smart and intelligent, but he definitely doesn't apply himself unless he really has to. He's incredibly charming and usually uses his good looks and cheeky grin to get what he wants (and he's most often found flirting with the nurses at the nurses station). He's actually got a good heart, but he probably won't ever let you see that. Because he'd rather just come across as the cocky doctor. He's a good Healer and Doctor. At least, he would be if he actually put as much effort into his job as he does to courting a certain someone at a coffee shop. Speaking of coffee, he's got a nose for picking out the different types of blends. He can usually pinpoint the exact region from which they were harvested.
weaknesses
He's entitled. Like incredibly entitled. But I guess that's what happens when you're the second born of a pureblood family, right? He doesn't have much motivation. At least, not outwardly so. He hasn't found something in his career that makes him really care about being a healer. He's just doing it because it was an easy career path choice. Plus, he really likes annoying Emmaline in Trauma. He's self-important. Graham takes deaths of his patient to heart, though he usually pretends that they don't affect him. He can fixate a little bit, this is fine. He's a sucker for a pretty face. Pretty faces? He's pretty much a sucker for women in general...and gets in trouble when he flirts with his patients, but hey...a little flirting takes you mind off of the horrible leg injury you're suffering from, doesn't it?

hobbies/interests
Graham likes flaunting his wealth and buying things just because he can (see recent purchase of Drip Espresso Bar in London) He's financially minded and enjoys balancing the books, but he's really too lazy to do it more often than not Being a doctor (his one true passion, but get him to admit it and you'll be the first) Drinking coffee + making lattes Posing as a bartender at his coffee shop Trying to get away from his personal handler assigned to him by his loving and overbearing Father, Geoffrey Tripe Gambling and playing poker Arts and Culture of society including ballet, operas, etc. but mostly just getting drunk at them The thrill of the chase Studying up on muggle medicine to make up for his lack of magical ability right now Taking pretty blondes out for dinner at his favorite restaurant Trying and failing to court @sabine Graham really likes socialite parties Avoiding his brother at all costs Giving money to charity, though he usually does it in Clifford's name because he doesn't want to take the credit Spending money on frivolous things Flirting Slacking off at his jobs Seeing what he can get away with
accomplishments
I don't know if he's done anything worth mentioning, yet.

character history
Graham Tripe was the second-born son of Callista Tripe (nee Heikkinen) and Geoffrey Tripe.

His life was full of expectation from the very beginning, though Graham always had to look at it through rose-colored glasses. Yes, he was expected to be a very prim and proper pureblood gentleman, but that didn't mean that he couldn't do it his own way. Who said that all heirs were created equal? In fact, he was pretty sure he knew more than his fair share of pureblood gents who played their social standing like more of a game.

His parents certainly had their hands full with young Graham. He was nothing like his older brother Clifford. While young Clifford liked to sit for tea and keep his hands clean, Graham was first in line to do something to upset the status quo.

So that became his mantra: play it like a game. Be as much the pureblood little boy his parents had always wanted - that Clifford always was - but do it his own way. Graham often withdrew money from his parents' Gringotts account for his own little rendezvous. He'd spend hundreds of galleons on whatever he could think of: expensive dinners, bottles of wine that the expensive restaurants wouldn't serve him because he was underage, train tickets to Merlin only knew where.

Of course, Callista always laughed and brushed it aside. Graham was, after all, her son and in her eyes, he could do no wrong. But Geoffrey grew increasingly annoyed with his son's antics.

At age eleven, when Graham received his Hogwarts letter, he was excited to get away from it all. Not interested in many extracurriculars or studying, he failed a lot of his classes. In fact, he failed more of them than he actually passed. A few years his brother's junior, there were expectations that Graham would bear similarities to Clifford, but those who expected it was sorely mistaken when this blonde terror arrived in their class.

During the summers, he'd bring home whatever girl suited his fancy, stay out all night partying, and come home in the morning for breakfast and then do it all over again.

Somehow, he managed to make it through with marks that were good enough to get into the Healer's Training Program. (A few of his professors speculated cheating as he had never performed as good as he did on his NEWTS AND OWLS, but in truth, Graham, just actually put forth effort for those tests).

Following graduation from Hogwarts, Graham enrolled in Gráinneog Institute as well as accepting a Healer-in-Training position at St. Mungo's. Though he was lazy and uninterested in actually pursuing a career in medicine, his father made it very clear that if Graham didn't do something with his life, he would be cut off from his inheritance. Therefore, medical school it was.

Surprisingly enough, he was good at his job and finished the Training Program in three years. He was offered a position in the Trauma Department, which he accepted. Under @emmaline , he's been able to hone his skills (and flirt with nearly every patient that comes into their department...the way Graham sees it, if they're thinking about him, they can't really focus on the piece of shrapnel that's poking through their chest cavity, can they?) The following year, he graduated from Gráinneog and started working part-time at Galway General as a Medical Resident. With a deep understanding of both the magical and muggle way of healing, Graham is an asset to any medical team...or at least, he would be if he would stop flirting with every patient.

Much to his father's dismay, he had fulfilled the criteria to keep his inheritance and decided to tap into the trust fund in order to purchase Drip Espresso Bar in London. A quaint coffee shop, Graham spends his off time there, sometimes posing as a bartender and...more often than not, waiting for a certain blonde to meet him for their promised coffee date.

I'll probably link you his family tree in a hot sec.
family history
The Heikkinens:

A relatively modest pureblood family from Finland, the Heikkinens are considered a byproduct of Finland's Magical Industry Age. In the 17th century, they helped engineer and architecturally construct many of the magic districts in Finland, helping wixen people assimilate into society while still maintaining their secrecy from the Ei Taikoja (the Finnish equivalent of No-Majs) world. A pureblood family with a neutral reputation, they have been respected in Finland since then and are considered amongst the respected "new money" pureblood of that society.

More recently, the Heikkinens are well-known in Finland for their contributions to alternative energy sources for the Wizarding World. Their business, Heikkinen Maagisia Energiaratkaisuja has pioneered an innovative way to convert magical energy as a way to power buildings and even small magical districts in Finland. Callista Heikkinen, eldest daughter of the current Heikkinen generation, attended Durmstrang and graduated with high marks. She kept her nose clean and went on to carry the family's business through in England where she was introduced to the Eldest Tripe boy, Geoffrey.

The Tripes:

Previously known as the Von Tripes, the Tripe family can trace its pureblood roots through generations on generations. Their roots are seated in Austria where they were proprietors of Theater and the Arts during the 8th Century. Wealthy and considered akin to notability at the time, the Von Tripes were amongst the most powerful of Austrian families.

A series of Wizarding Revolutions in the early 14th century led the Von Tripes to relocate to England where they were able to re-establish themselves as well-off socialites and proprietors of the arts. They dropped 'Von' and proceeded to establish themselves as simply the Tripes on foreign soil. It is said that a Tripe once commissioned William Shakespeare to write a piece for the family's own amusement...according to that legend passed along from Tripe generation to generation, A Midsummer's Night Dream was born by their doing.

They began a long-standing career in medicine in the early 17th century when St. Mungo's first opened and were close friends with Healer Mungo Bonham and his family.

The Tripes continued their pureblood legacy, and consider themselves to be cultured, well-off, and politically unaligned for the time being. They rarely take sides when it comes to the political wars in Wizarding Society. More often than not, the Tripes are involved in Medical fields and rarely venture into politics.
