Clay is a tall man at 6'6". He is broad through the shouldder and heavily muscled showing just how much he keeps himself in shape. He has two tattoos, one on his left forearm of his family crest and n his right upper arm he has a sword with "Rise and rise again". Red hair and piercing eyes mark him as one of his clansmen, and upon special occasions, you might just find him wearing a kilt alongside of his father brother, and cousin (his uncle as well when he was alive). He usually wears jeans and a button up or a t-shirt, but when at the gym or at home you may just find him in sweats.

Born into a large and loving family Barclay (or Clay as he is called) is the eldest of two boys. His parents doted on him hardcore when he was young, but did not see the need to spoil the young man. He was a large lad from the time that he could walk, and loved to read and to learn, something that made his mother and uncle very happy. Clay was fascinated with history and how things were built from the time that he was in pre-school. Things like arches and how they work, and paintings in architecture, were just beautiful to him. He could not help but love it all, every bit of it and he when he was seven he decided that it was what he wanted to do with his life.
He got his Hogwarts letter and away he went to Hogwarts, he didn't made a ton og friends, because he has never been one to search for friends, out of his normal life, but he was pretty popular ("it's the hair) He was pretty glad that a lot of people didn't ask him if he was a Weasley, because he was often confused for one, even though he had never met one to his recollection, but he wasn't sure if that was a bad thing or not. A crack of his neck would show that he wsa overwhelmed before he would head off to the loo and hide for a while. People, while something that he could handle, were the things that worked his nerves the hardest.
Towards the end of his time at school, his little cousin, his little wrockstar, Attia came to school and he had something else to focus on other than his brother, though much younger than he both Attia and Giles were those that he knew that he could protect above all else, whereas his parents were not always the case. He graduated and he took a break afterwards, finding himself. Two years later he was off at College, being a 'smart arse' as usual and pulled a double major while staying at home to minimize his costs. He didn't need much when it came to some of his school things, but he was lucky that he had a supportive family to help him.
He finished College the same year that Attia was away to Standford and was so happy for the little one to be able to go and see and do. Meanwhile he joined the local historical society and began to get to work. He studied ancient roads and buildings and analyzed how they were set up and the ways that they worked, and upon returning to England he met @gracie .
She was much younger than he was, but she pulled him in and made him want to know more about her from the very get go. He wished more than anything else that he was younger or that she was older, but at the beginning that didn't seem to bother either of them (or so he thought). His mother and father loved her and they got on very well. He got a place for them and he for a time they lived together, but as time passed he found himself wanting more than just what they had he wanted to have a family, to marry her and he had been talking to his father and Uncle abot proposing when Murtaugh passed suddenly.
This pushed him into action and Clay proposed, wanting a family, wanting happily ever after, with her. He knew that she was the one, that they could spend the rest of their lives together and be completely happy, but she wanted to focus on her schooling, and things ended. He moved home and they went their seperate ways. A job at the college came open and he applied to be a professor. Buying a home of his own, Clay got a large dog to keep him company and since then has only really been working and going home. Not giving himself time for anything else, he never really allowed himself to have a broken heart, her absence is just a place filled with work. That does not mean that he doesn't miss her or never loved her.
In fact it it rather the opposite, that was the only way that he knew to be able to function and live his life without her.

Their first son was born nineteen months after their wedding to the day. They named him Barclay after his grandfather and Baigh after his great Grandfather. Two family names that were passed to each generation. They didn't want another child, having their hands full with Clay, so they didn't even think about trying (it was the last thing on their minds really). So they were both rather shocked when ten years later they had another son that she ned Giles Stephen. Things were pretty good for a long time until Murren suddenly got sick, scaring most of the family, as she was the glue that held them all together. Things were touch and go for a long while but everything turned out alright in the end.
Now they all live in the same house that they always have, keeping an eye on Aleena and Attia. Not to mention the Emotional Blackmail she does for her sons to give her grandchildren. Is that too much to ask.
