Appearance and Personality
General Appearance: Ophelia is 5’5” with shoulder length colour in a chocolate brown colour but it can be a lighter brown and even blonde occasionally if she changes it’s colour. Her hair is normally straight. She had blue eyes that can appear brown in certain types of light. She carries herself very confidently, she walks with confidence and only stutters if she is nervous. She was very confident in school though she was only trusting of a close few around her.

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Skills: Astronomy, CoMC and Ancient Runes, good memory, good at reading people…..she has the natural ability to read a person in the first 30 seconds of meeting them, good baker, Speaks basic Spanish and Irish which comes from her uncle.
Weaknesses: Flying, poor organisation skills - though she is looking to improve on this, Arithmancy - didnt inherit her mother's gift of the subject

Character History:

Ophelia was born in Bristol in the middle of winter to Arthur and Margaret Jameson as their second child, and she would be their last child. Both Arthur and Margaret were purebloods and therefore suffered a lot of pressure from Arthur’s brother to join Voldermort’s followers, that when Ophelia was four she lost both her parents. It was just shy of her fifth birthday and so she dreads that time of year each time it rolls around.

She and her sister were taken in by her mother’s younger sister and her husband who lived in Ireland. The brought up both girls along with their own children. When Ophelia was six and on her way to town with aunt she started showing signs of her magic when she made flowers in the village park bloom. Ophelia along with the other kids were all homeschooled before they went to Hogwarts by their Aunt and Uncle, primarily for Safety reasons.

Her Aunt had told her that she would be gifted in Herbology when she got to Hogwarts and and she was correct, well partly. While her older sister had been sorted into Hufflepuff, Ophelia had been sorted into Ravenclaw and soon learned that it was the house for her. She was able to be left on her own, which is how she liked it. It wasnt that she didnt want to have friends, she did have a select few. Early in her fifth year Ophelia started researching wandlore and she also conducted extensive research into magical creatures since they are the origins of many wand cores. In her summer Holidays to follow she would work at Ollivanders, more so to further her knowledge rather than the money.

When she graduated from Hogwarts she relocated permanently from Ireland to London. A few weeks after moving she undertook studies in wandlore and also the creation of wands before she started working at Ollivanders and Eventually becoming the manager there.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? Understandably Ophelia feels that Death eaters and their families deserve the treatment they are getting from the ministry and the minister. She feels that because Death eaters killed her parents and took away the life she deserved with them, they in turn dont deserve any form of happiness or solid family life. Even though she is a pureblood she holds no sympathy for them because they robbed her of a life they lived so freely.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? Her Parents were always being pressured by Arthur’s older brother to join the death eaters but they never agreed with their ideology that and as a result for not joining the group they lost their lives. Subsequently Ophelia, her sister and the rest of their family were always on the lookout after this, and as such her Uncle and Aunt homeschooled both girls and their cousins. Even after Voldemort was killed they continued to be on the look out for fear of any reprisal attacks

Family History:
Arthur was the middle of three sons coming from a pureblood family, he and his brothers got along very well until the youngest Philip lost his life due to illness at the age of 7. This tore the older boys apart with both of them being at Hogwarts. Arthur was in his second year at Hogwarts at the time, in Slytherin and had hard time dealing with his older brother. Through this however he managed to excel in Ancient Runes and Charms, which is how he and Margaret got together since they both shared a love of those subjects. They started dating in their sixth year.

Margaret was also born to a pureblood family and was their oldest daughter. Her family had an extensive estate just north of Portsmouth where she and her younger sister Christina were raised. When Margaret was 11 she went off to Hogwarts and was sorted in Slytherin which is where she met Arthur, befriended him and later started dating him.

After they graduated, both Arthur and Margaret moved to Bristol and soon got married and later went on to raise their daughters. In their late 20’s Arthur’s older brother kept pressuring them to join the death eaters and with their constant resistance they lost their lives.
