general appearance
Soft, pretty, brown hair most of the time, ever-changing eyes.

"I'm not special. No matter what they try and tell you. I'm just me. When I'm not changing it, I have soft, brown hair, and green eyes. But my eyes seem to change with the light, not even with me thinking about changing them. I'm tall enough, but really the majority of that is just my legs. They are long, and before ballet they were awkward. Now they are more graceful. Mom says I move like water. I think she's wrong, but I'm pretty enough, for being average."

skills
BALLET - From the time that she could walk, she could dance. And Agatha was put into dance classes as soon as she expressed an interest. With her mother's career, and her father's ability to take her here and there, and travel with her to ensure her success, she became quite the gifted dancer at an early age. Training in ballet schools across Europe, and Africa, and Australia.

MODERN DANCE - While she excels in ballet, there are plenty of other dance genres in the world, and she knows what she's doing with it comes to modern dance. She won't admit it, but sometimes, on an off day, she thinks that she loves the freedom of modern dance a little more than she likes the strict regimens that come with ballet.

METAMORPHAGUS - She was born a metamorphagus. Though if her birth parents ever really took the time to try and teach her to control it, she doesn't know. She doesn't know if you can teach an infant to stop changing their appearance at all.

MUSIC - This is what she decided to study in University. Actually getting to go to University is different for her. She's never been in an actual classroom until this year. With them moving all of the time, and the time that she dedicated to ballet, she never went to a formal school growing up.

CHARMS - Of all of the things that her father has taught her, magically, she is the most gifted at charms. She finds there's something graceful about them that you can't find in other areas of magic.

COMMUNICATION - While Agatha is often a soft spoken, and rather introverted person, when it comes to a problem at hand, she is a very effective communicator, and can often dissolve tension in a situation without even meaning to.

ANIMALS - She is naturally drawn to animals in any given situation. She prefers their company to humans most of the time. Her pet mouse, Squeak, can often be found on her shoulder when she's reading, or studying, and she doesn't give much of a thought to it at all.

POLITICS - Her mother's influence has always been there. Not only for Agatha to do her best, but to understand to the best of her abilities, the world around her. That meant that she grew to understand her mother's world, as well as learning from her father, and politics came with that.
weaknesses
ADOPTED - Without really knowing where she came from, or having an explanation for who she was before, there are some times when Agatha feels like something is missing. That she has lost something that she doesn't even know if she ever had.

METAMORPHAGUS - Without control of her magic, especially now, Agatha has had some trouble keeping a grip on her Morphing abilities. Though it often comes with shifts of her mood.

SOFT SPOKEN - She's always been quiet, and thoughtful. In a lot of ways she's far older than her eighteen years. As if there is a lifetime that's hidden away in there. Or even hundreds of lifetimes that she had lived, and yet to live.

TIMID - When it comes to a crowd, she's most likely going to bow out. To shy away from the loud, and the wild. She would rather be seen and not heard most of the time. Through no fault of her parents, or her upbringing, just because she's often the most shy person in the room. Unless she's on stage. There is something about dancing that frees her from that.

WANDERLUST - There's adventure out there somewhere, and wanting to go is driving her crazy. She knows that she has to stay in one place in order to further her career in the ballet. But there's got to be something more out there, and now they are trapped in England, and things are quite miserable sometimes.

character history
Born. Drama. Adopted. Took up Ballet. World Traveling. Still Ballet. Dad School. Still Ballet. Moved to England. More Ballet.

Most kids don't remember their infancy, but for most of them it's simply because that's how their minds work. They didn't have the ability to retain those memories yet. For Agatha Regent, it was different. Because Agatha Regent was born Agatha Fontaine. And that made a world of difference.

Born a twin, she and her brother, Heathwood, witnessed the murder of their father by their deranged mother. She had killed him for being a wizard. Killed him because she was a Barebone, and one of those Barebones. The twins would have been the next murders committed by the woman that had brought them into the world, only the aurors arrived in time.

Obliviated, and separated from her twin, Agatha was adopted by Noah and Michelle Regent just after her first birthday. The couple had tried for years to have a child of their own, and when the healers had said that it would take a miracle for that to happen, they had turned to adoption to bring a child into their family.

Little Agatha, with her ever changing hair and eyes, caught Michelle's attention that very first day, and the rest, as they say, is history. They took her home, and she was a perfect fit. There had never been a more picture perfect family. And when her mother got promoted, and they moved to England, no one worried that Agatha was leaving something very important behind. Her twin.

As Michelle was promoted up to being the delegate herself, it was Noah that ended up staying home with Agatha, and it was Noah that first suggested that they enroll their ever twirling and tumbling daughter into dance classes. It became clear that they had made the right choice very early on. She took to dance like a duck to water, and as she grew and advanced, they knew that so long as she loved it, they were going to let her continue to pursue it.

When Michelle was transferred first to Austria, and then to France, it was easy enough to keep her enrolled in dance classes. They forewent sending her away to school, she would have been enrolled in too many primary schools to count by the time she would have been old enough for boarding school. Instead they kept her home, and Noah and Michelle taught her themselves as she matured and grew. Ballet became her focus when she was six, and she dropped all of her other courses.

From then on it was ballet every day. For hours every day. And where a child of that age should have burned out on something that she spent so much time doing, it was the only thing that Agatha wanted to do. All of her friends were ballet students. All of the activities that she begged them to do were this class, or that class. Anything that would have her in her leotard, and her pointe shoes.

They were in Australia when it came time for her to go to school, and instead of sending her to Uluru, they kept her home. They enrolled her in The Australian Ballet's school and they let her pursue her dreams while Noah taught her magic on the side, and Michelle pursued her own career as the American Foreign Delegate to all of these places.

Agatha was fourteen when she was invited to audition for the company. That first audition went wonderfully, and she was accepted into the company as an apprentice at the age of 14. While not the youngest apprentice that there's ever been, she was the youngest member of the company, and as such, she struggled to find a way to truly fit in with all of the adults around her. While her social skills needed work, her ballet skills did not, and by the age of 17 she had fought her way into a Corps de Ballet position within the company.

When her mother announced that the government wished to move her back to England, where she had started out in her first assistant position, Agatha sent out feelers to the ballet companies around London. She was a protégé, and she was young, but she secured an audition for the Avalon School of Ballet, and she went into it feeling quite confident. Expecting placement amongst the corps, she was surprised when she was hired on as a Demi-Soloist instead.

With her long hours at ballet, Agatha decided that she would pursue a degree as well. Something relatively simple. Something that she wasn't going to truly have to focus on, but that she could do over the course of time, and make sure that she was leaving plenty of time for ballet every day. So she chose music, which seemed a rather respectable choice for a professional ballerina.

family history
I stole this from Quinn, Shamelessly:

Anthony Fontaine came from a long line of American Wizards – Thodard Fontaine was one of the original twelve Aurors in the United States. Anthony’s cousin, Agilbert Fontaine is currently the Headmaster of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A family well-known in the community, they were heavily involved in United States politics and considered themselves to be well-versed in Transfiguration and book writing.

Tony himself was rather dim compared to the rest of his family, but his name carried him far. He worked in the speech writing department of MACUSA before retiring early to advise political campaigns in the No-Maj world. It was in this world that he met Scarlett Blight.

Scarlett Blight – or Barebone, as she was known to her family, was descended from a long line of Scourers in the United States (the very Barebone family that was responsible for Rapport’s Law in the Americas). In 1790, the Barebone family was almost single-handedly responsible for exposing a magical presence in the United States. Following their son’s Bartholomew’s arrest, the rest of the family ran, hiding themselves in secret until they could be sure that MACUSA had stopped looking for them. In an official report to the International Confederation of Wizards, at a public inquiry, President Rapport (the MACUSA President at the time) was forced to report that she could not be sure that every last person privy to this leak had been obliviated, especially given they could not find Bartholomew’s cousins.

So, the Barebone family faded in existences and assumed new identities as the Blights. A family fixated on the idea of exposing the magical community, they worked tirelessly to find and exterminate wizards. A few of them have been known US serial killers, though their prey was not random, as the news reported: it was strictly magical.

Scarlett took her fervor for exterminating the magical community to a new level when she married Anthony Fontaine. At first, they seemed like a happy couple – they’d met a few months prior to their marriage at a local bookshop. They had seemed well-matched, and after a small courthouse wedding, Scarlett announced that she was pregnant. She gave birth to twins nine months later and shortly thereafter murdered her husband. In her initial statement, she said it had taken her that long to be sure that Anthony Fontaine was a Wizard…though some speculate that she had gone momentarily soft for her husband.

The two children, Heathwood and Agatha were taken into protective custody and adopted, separately. For safety, they were obliviated, though it is suspected that neither remembers anything about their father's grizzly murder…or their mother.
