Pull the heart out of your smile
Push the sense of being here from your life
Carve your thoughts out in your eyes
They read I don't want to be alone in the end
Carve your thoughts out in your eyes
They read I don't want to be alone in the end
Well she had come home. He honestly hadn't expected her to, but he was glad she did. For the months that Rosa was gone he felt as though he were watching his twin slip into the roll their own father had been stuck in his entire life. Raising children alone was difficult. Raising children alone when you're heart still belonged to their mother seemed impossible. It must have been, given the distance their father had put between himself and them. He didn't think that Harvey could have been like that. Silas was important to him-- not to say that they weren't important to their own father, surely in some way they were-- but the way he cared for his son was not the way that Welkin had cared for them. For that alone Osteros was immensely proud of his brother.
In truth he was proud of his brother for many things. Being a father so young in life seemed like an impossibility to his own mind. He couldn't fathom it. Then again some people his age could never imagine running a business on their own or doing the sort of things he did for a living. To each their own, he supposed. Harvey had his son and he had his business. What would become of their sisters as they aged he didn't rightly know but he figured if they were anything like the two eldest Arington children they'd get out from under Welkin's thumb as soon as they could.
Today he had already seen one of his sisters, and now it was time for him to see his brother. He had invited his twin away for a few hours. Rosa had been back for a few weeks now but he figured that she could relish a few moments alone with their son. Merlin knows how much she had missed while she went on the run. Still, as apart as they were from little Silas Osteros was still on a mission to work mum more into his nephew's wardrobe. "What do you think of this one?" The six feet tall wizard turned, holding a onesie in Silas size up against him self for...well for God knows what reason. As if realizing how ridiculous that was he withdrew it gazing at it for a moment. "Mum says I'm a keeper," he read scrunching his nose with an amused sort of smile. He had never played quidditch but he absolutely adored the sentiment. It was only made better of course by his brother's profession.
