@barclay
 Sophia had been so much better mentally and she knew that was the effect that Clay had her and by extension Audrey as well. She knew that every little girl deserves a father. She had not had that opportunity when she had grown up. Tiwaz had been stolen from the both of them and her heart would always have a place for him. She had Audrey as a lasting memory of him. Sophia had made do for the longest time with it just being the two of them and she had tried to work hard to provide everything she possibly could for her baby girl. She had even changed her job so she had more funds. She was thankful that University of Bangor had hired her. It was all going perfectly well fro the two of them.

Then Clay had come into the picture. He was a fantastic guy. Sophia just worried about how her little girl would feel about him and how she would interact with him. But she soon found she had been worried for no reasons. While Audrey had initially been skeptical of him, which Sophia had expected, her daughter had soon taken her on a man who would guide her. Clay had come to her and asked if it was okay if her daughter called him ‘daddy’. Sophia was okay with and suggest he talk to Audrey about it. Her daughter was still only two and was still developing her speech but she had started with ‘Dada’ and it just stuck. Sophia was sure she had even heard Audrey telling her friends at daycare about him.

She knew that someone up there was smiling to, just as she was down here on Earth. When she had been pregnant, she wanted to give her child a family and now she was getting exactly that for Audrey. Sophia loved him and had told him so many times already even before they had headed out to dinner tonight.

She had found out the restaurant’s name and she honestly couldn’t turn down the chance to eat there. If the restaurant bore the name of her daughter then she had to eat there. Her daughter was still figuring what kind of food she liked but there was no harm in introducing her to new food tonight. Her sister was with them too as she was home from Hogwarts. It was good to spend time with Penny when they weren’t time bound like they were at Hogsmeade weekends.

Sophia was just returning from the bathroom with Audrey and had left Penny to hang with Clay as they waited for their drinks to arrive. Her little girl had animatedly pointed out everything on their way back to their table, even if the trip was pretty short. ”Everything okay?” She asked as she seated Audrey onto Clay’s last and took her own seat. Soon enough their drinks arrived and she saw the Audrey immediately reached for her water and she Sophia helped her take a sip before she leaned back against Clay’s chest again.
